If your washing machine freezes during the cycle you will need to remove the water first to be able to repair it later. This article shows you how to drain the washing machine by hand.
Steps
Step 1. Get a bucket and a towel
Disconnect the washing machine from the electricity.
Step 2. Locate the drain hose
The water from the washing machine empties through a vertical pipe connected to your home's drain system. It is usually found under the laundry sink or to the side. You will probably have to move the washing machine to see it.
Step 3. Unhook the plastic tube from the drain tube
As you do this, hold it vertically.
Step 4. Lower it towards the bucket
The water will begin to pour into the bucket only thanks to the force of gravity. If the bucket fills up, lift the hose up to block the flow of water.
Step 5. Empty the bucket in the laundry sink
Continue until the washer is completely drained. If you can't fix it yourself, call a professional technician. You can also read the WikiHow article to learn how to fix a washing machine leaks.
