This article teaches you how to create the "Life" object in Little Alchemy and Little Alchemy 2. The Little Alchemy series is a set of games for desktop, iPhone and Android, in which you can combine different elements (starting with wind, fire, air and water) to create over 500 unique objects, one of which is life.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Using the Original Little Alchemy
Step 1. Open Little Alchemy
It is a free game on both PC and mobile:
- "Desktop": go to https://littlealchemy.com/ from your browser and click "PLAY".
- "Mobile": tap on the "Little Alchemy" app icon, then press "PLAY".
Step 2. Drag the "air" element onto the game board
You will find the icon at the top of the menu located on the right.
Step 3. Drag the "fire" element onto the "air" element
In this way the two elements combined will create "energy", represented by the icon that represents the energy equation.
Step 4. Leave the "energy" element on the board
You'll need it later, leave it alone for now.
Step 5. Create the "mud" object
Place "water" on the board and drag the "earth" icon over it. This way you will get the "mud" option.
You should now have the "energy" and "mud" icons on the board
Step 6. Create the "rain" element
Drag the "water" element onto the game board, and then drag the "air" icon over it to create the "rain" object.
Step 7. Create a plant
Combine "earth" and "rain" to create the "plant" element.
At this point you should have the "plant", "mud" and "energy" icons on the board
Step 8. Merge the "plant" and "mud" icons
This way you will have created the "swamp" element.
Step 9. Combine "swamp" and "energy" together
In this way you will have created the element "life", represented by the icon with the DNA.
Method 2 of 2: Using Little Alchemy 2
Step 1. Open Little Alchemy 2
Like its predecessor, this game is free for both desktop and mobile:
- "Desktop": go to https://littlealchemy2.com/ from your browser and click "PLAY".
- "Mobile": Press the Little Alchemy 2 app icon, then press "PLAY".
Step 2. Drag "fire" to the game board
You will find the flame icon on the right side of Little Alchemy 2.
Step 3. Merge the "earth" icon with "fire"
This will create "lava" on the game board.
In Little Alchemy 2 you will have to click or tap the screen to make the pop-up window disappear each time, informing you that a new item has been created
Step 4. Merge "earth" and "lava"
This will create the "volcano" object.
Step 5. Combine two "water" elements together
By doing so you will have created the "puddle" object.
Step 6. Join another "puddle" to the existing one
A "pond" will be created in the center of the game board.
Step 7. Merge two ponds
Dragging another "pond" icon over the existing one will create "lake".
Step 8. Create the sea
To do this, combine two "lake" elements together.
Step 9. Merge "land" to the "sea" icon
This way you will create "primordial soup", which is the key component to creating the "life" element.
Step 10. Add the "volcano" object to the "primordial soup"
You will then have completed the process of creating the "life" element; at this point you should see the DNA fragment icon in the center of the game board.
Advice
- Whenever you create a new item, it is automatically added to the side bar.
- In Little Alchemy you can also combine "love" and "time" to create "life", although you need "life" to be able to create the elements of this combination.
