Do you like to make people more beautiful? Are you looking for a way to make someone feel special? Learning how to perform a beauty treatment on another person's face can be of great interest both as a hobby and for a possible new career.
Ingrediants
- Sugar or dried fruit granules to use as exfoliating particles
- Honey, mayonnaise, cucumber, strawberries or chocolate are among the ingredients you can use to make a mask. Note: always inform yourself in advance about any allergies of your "customers". Read the "Warnings" section carefully.
Steps
Step 1. The first two steps to take before starting to treat the person's face are:
- Disinfect your hands;
- Ask for some information. Many people are allergic or particularly sensitive to some of the substances frequently contained in cosmetics or used during beauty treatments. It is very important to know if your "customers" may have particular reactions to certain ingredients to avoid getting the exact opposite result to what you want, that is to make them feel good.
Step 2. Ask the person to lie down
Before starting, you will need to have a cot and a pillow with a clean pillowcase and sheet ready. Also, wrap a clean towel around the client's head.
Step 3. If the person is wearing makeup, start by gently removing all traces of makeup
To remove mascara, gently scrub your lashes with a cotton pad soaked in make-up remover. Remember that the eye area should always be treated counterclockwise to avoid wrinkling and damaging the skin.
Step 4. Apply two moistened cotton pads to the person's eyes, then start looking closely at the skin
It is better to have a lamp available to see clearly (for this reason it is necessary to cover the eyes) and to notice any imperfections, for example: pimples, blackheads, enlarged pores, small wrinkles, dehydrated parts, etc. The main goal is to determine which skin type is among the four main ones:
- Normal: It is considered the best type, in which hydration and sebum production are in balance and there are no impurities or small wrinkles.
- Dry: the pores are tightened due to the low production of natural oils. There may be no impurities, but when the skin is dry, the signs of aging tend to appear early.
- Mixed: in some parts of the face the skin is oily (basically in the so-called T-zone consisting of the forehead, nose and chin) while in others it is dry (mainly on the cheeks).
- Fat: in this case the production of oils is exaggerated. Although oily skin tends to age more slowly, it often appears greasy and shiny due to excess sebum and is full of impurities.
Step 5. Once you have determined what your skin type is, you can begin the actual treatment
Step 6. First, exfoliate your face to remove dead skin cells
Scrubbing is very effective because it removes impurities and dead particles that accumulate on the surface of the skin, hindering the development of new cells. When finished, gently pat the person's face to dry it.
Step 7. Massage your face
Take a cream or oil and apply it directly to the skin, then start massaging it slowly upwards. Since gravity already takes care of pulling it downwards, during the treatment remember to move your hands on the skin only upwards. Very gently pinch the outline of the jaw using the index and middle fingers as if they were a pair of "scissors". Massaging the skin serves to increase blood flow to that area.
Step 8. Use heat to open pores
Aesthetic centers generally have special tools that produce steam, but in your case the best method is to take a warm, damp towel and wrap it around the person's face for a couple of minutes. The pores will naturally dilate, allowing the ingredients of the mask to penetrate deeper.
Step 9. Use a brush or spatula to apply a clay mask
Distribute it evenly over the person's face, avoiding only the eye contour area. The clay moisturizes and purifies the skin and provides all the minerals it needs, as well as reduces the size of the pores. If you want, you can use clean cotton pads to protect your eyes from the mask.
Step 10. Let the mask work for about 20 minutes
Then gently wash it off with water.
Step 11. Apply an astringent toner to the skin after washing off the mask
Its function is to close the pores, as well as remove excess sebum and impurities that the cleanser has not been able to eliminate.
Step 12. Apply a moisturizer
Step 13. Sprinkle some thermal water to further hydrate the skin
Step 14. The beauty treatment is complete
Give the person a mirror to look at and humbly welcome their compliments as they admire the result of your work.
Advice
- In addition to the four types of leather mentioned above, there are others, but each originates from the first. For example, acne-prone skin derives from oily skin, while mature skin derives from dry skin.
- You need to learn about and distinguish the different types of skin and the products and ingredients you can use to care for them.
- Among all the types of muds and clays, the best are those that derive from the Dead Sea because they contain the greatest quantity and variety of mineral salts and trace elements since it is the lowest point in the world below sea level.
- In addition to mud or clay-based masks, there are many other types. Some foods, such as honey and mayonnaise, are also great used as a beauty mask.
- In the case of acne-prone skin, it is best to avoid massaging it so as not to risk aggravating the problem.
- Remember to always disinfect your hands in front of the customer so that they know they are perfectly clean.
Warnings
- If the person has an open wound on the face or looks sick, you can refuse to perform the treatment until it is healed or use special tools to avoid infection by germs or viruses, safeguarding your health.
- It is absolutely not recommended to give a massage to those suffering from severe heart disease.
- Before starting, always ask if the person is allergic or intolerant to certain ingredients or substances. The reactions that are triggered in the body can also be very serious and even lead to death. For example, the throat of a person allergic to nuts may swell to such an extent that it prevents them from breathing. This could happen even if he were simply in the same room as there are walnuts, almonds, etc., without having to touch or swallow them. For this reason, you must not use any cosmetic product that contains traces of dried fruit (for example in the form of granules to exfoliate the skin) on people suffering from this type of allergy.
