That's right, sugar! That white, sweet, granular ingredient normally used to sweeten your coffee is perfect for performing a beauty treatment for your legs.
Steps
Step 1. Moisten the skin of the legs and hands
Wet the part of the leg you want to exfoliate.
Step 2. Take a good amount of sugar and rub it between your hands
Then massage it into the skin of the legs making gentle and circular movements. Start at the top, thigh or knee, and work your way down to the ankles.
Step 3. Rinse
Step 4. Complete the lemon treatment if desired
Cut a lemon and rub the pulp on the skin of the legs and then rinse it. Lemon has useful toning properties and is able to lighten any dark spots on the skin, as well as eliminate any traces of self-tanning products.
Step 5. Pat the skin dry to dry
If you want to shave or treat your legs with a tanning product, this is the perfect time to do it. Alternatively, apply a moisturizer and massage it until completely absorbed.
