Tired of using the straightener to straighten your hair? To do this you could also use a normal curling iron and get excellent results! But be careful: this method is fine if you need to straighten individual strands or small portions of hair, but it could be quite inconvenient if used to straighten the entire hair.
Steps
Step 1. Make sure your hair is clean and tangle-free
If your hair is dirty or greasy it becomes very difficult to straighten it. Then wash them with a nourishing shampoo before starting the process.
Step 2. Comb your hair well
If your hair has a lot of knots, it will be more difficult to get the iron between the strands.
Step 3. Dry your hair well
Using a hot iron on wet hair can burn it, so make sure it's dry before straightening.
Step 4. Turn on the iron
Wait until it is hot before using it.
Step 5. Take a lock of hair
Take the iron and place it at the root of the strand, holding the hair well pulled with one hand. Starting from the root, drop the iron down the entire length. You don't have to roll your hair around the iron in the process, as you normally would. Repeat this step until the hair reaches the desired style.
It is best to do this in front of a mirror to avoid making mistakes or burning your fingers
Step 6. Spray some hairspray to set the style well
Step 7. Gently use a wide-toothed comb to remove knots and better tame the hair
Advice
- If you burn your fingers, immediately immerse them in cold water. Don't put toothpaste on the burn (or honey and butter, as many suggest), as they may further irritate the skin.
- Make sure you always spray protective spray on your hair before ironing.
Warnings
- Be careful not to burn yourself!
- Too high temperatures damage the hair a lot and reduce its growth. If your hair is badly damaged, look for methods that allow you to straighten or curl your hair without the use of heat.
