Snakes usually represent evil or deceit, but they can also be harmless. Draw your snake by following these steps!
Steps
Step 1. Draw two ovals of the same size on top of each other
They should be thin, horizontal and connected at the sides by curved lines.
Step 2. Draw two or three more pairs of ovals on top of the first one
Each couple must be smaller than the one on which it rests, like in a wedding cake. This shape represents the body of the coiled snake.
Step 3. Draw a curved rectangle slightly to the side
Above draw an oval, which will be connected to the body by the rectangle.
Step 4. Draw two circles for the eyes and two dots for the nose
They should be on the top half of the head, with the eyes slightly protruding to the sides.
Step 5. Give your snake a sneaky (or shy) smile
Add the tongue, which has an inverted "V" shaped tip.
Step 6. Draw a tail on the lower part of the body
It should only tick slightly to the left and is a simple pointed curved line.
Step 7. Sketch the details
You can add stripes or dots, or create your own pattern for the scales. You could also add circles on the tip of the tail to create a rattlesnake.
Step 8. Review the outlines and color
This snake is green, which is a common color, but there are many colors; use your imagination!
