Crochet is ideal for making baby shoes. Easy, soft and cute, baby shoes are a useful and beautiful gift for the parents of a newborn or a little older child.
This pattern is good for children of 40 or 45 cm (ask parents for measurements). If in doubt, make them a little bigger and the baby will grow into them.
Steps

Method 1 of 6: First Row
Step 1. Do 8 (10) cat
Step 2. 1 sc and 1 ch from second ch on hook, 1 half dc in each ch to the end (7:
9 half but).
Method 2 of 6: Second Row
Step 1. 1 sc and 1 ch in the first half tr, 1 half tr in every half tr until the end
Step 2. Work 4 more rows in half tr
Make 25 (27) ch for the ankle, pass the stitch to the first half but of the previous row.
Method 3 of 6: Shaping the sole
Step 1. First round:
1 ch (1 sc 1 ch) in the same point where you pass the stitch. Work 9 halves evenly but, but on the side edge of the half-but-half rows, make 1 half but in each of the next 7 (9) base chs. Work 10 halves evenly but on the other side edge of the half tr rows, 1 half tr in each of the following 25 (27) ch for the ankle, pass the stitch to the first half but, turn. Make another 2 rounds in the middle but, turning at the end of each row.
Step 2. Next round:
1 but 1 ch in the first half but, 1 half but in each half but to the end. Drop 1 half but for each side of the tips. Do 1 half but twice in the center of the back of the heel, slide the point to the first half but, turn.
Step 3. Repeat the last round twice
Close.
Method 4 of 6: Fans (Top)
Step 1. Return to the ch of the ankle, join the yarn at the center back of the heel, ch 1, 1 sc in each ch and a half but around the ankle, pass the stitch to the first half but, turn 32:
36 mb.
Step 2. Next round:
4 ch, 2 but in the same point where you pass the stitch, skip 3 sc, 1 fan to the next sc, repeat the last 3 sc, skip 3 sc, 1 but in the same point of the 4 ch, pass the stitch to the third ch of the 4 ch, then to the following ch space, turn 8: 9 fans.
Step 3. Next round:
4 ch, 2 but in the same place of the 4 chs, 1 fan in ch space of each fan to the end, 1 but in the same point of the 4 ch, pass the stitch to the third ch of the 4 chs, then to the next ch space, turn.
Step 4. Repeat the last round 3 times
Close.
Method 5 of 6: Shaping Baby Shoes
Step 1. Press the wrong side of the crochet fabric
Put a thin fabric on the shoes before ironing them to protect them from the heat and push lightly.
Step 2. Sew the edges together
This will shape the shoes.
Step 3. Thread ribbon of the same color or a contrasting one through the spaces between the fans
You can make a bow, then keep it or give it as a gift. When you put them on the child just untie the bow and then redo it on the foot.
Other decorations can be added if you want, just make sure they are safe for such a small child
