Steps
Method 1 of 2: Part 1: Remove the Seeds
Step 1. Choose a pomegranate that has a thin, firm and flawless skin
The heavier it is, the more juice it will have.
Step 2. Cut the crown with a sharp knife
Step 3. Engrave it with cuts from which you will then make the quarters
Step 4. Put it in the water
The water softens the seeds and facilitates their collection.
Step 5. While it is in the water, open it in quarters
Step 6. Run your fingers through each slice to start separating the seeds
Step 7. Collect the ones that float
Step 8. If you don't want to eat them right away, place them in a container and put them in the fridge where they will keep up to three days or in the freezer for up to six months
If you don't want to throw away the peel, keep it as intact as possible and carve the Halloween lantern
Method 2 of 2: Part 2: Methods for Tasting Pomegranate
Step 1. Alone
You can enjoy it in the morning or as an afternoon or evening snack. There are two main ways to enjoy it on its own:
- With a spoon, as you would with cereal from a bowl. Eat the semen whole or suck it out by spitting out the hard part.
-
You can also cut it into large chunks and sink your teeth into it. This is a bit more messed up method and will require a good clean up later.
In addition, the cuticle can be a bit bitter so avoid eating it too much. This method is for people with some experience
Step 2. Sprinkle the seeds on top of other foods
If you don't have time to cook, but still want to spice up what you eat a little, here are a couple of ways to make the meal from ordinary to exotic. Try to:
- Sprinkle the pomegranate seeds on top of the cereals or oats.
- Pour them into fruit or orange juice.
- Pour them into black tea for a penetrating aroma.
- Add them to mango cubes.

These seeds can give your daily soup a boost. Here are a couple that do well:
- Pomegranate Soup.

- Pomegranate juice (which you can use to make a pomegranate mojito!).
- Get ready for a relaxing evening with a bottle of pomegranate wine.
