Are you at school and you just found out that network administrators have blocked the use of command prompt on Windows computers and you don't know what to do? Or are you just trying to execute a command and keep getting the "Access Denied" message? No problem, this article shows you how to solve the problem by bypassing the restrictions with quick and easy methods. The link to download the RAAC program is available in the "Things You Will Need" section.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Use a Batch File
Step 1. Start the "Notepad" program
Step 2. Enter the "File" menu, select the "Save As" option, then choose the "All Files" option from the "Save As" drop-down menu
Save the new document with the name "filebatch.bat" (without quotes).
Step 3. Type the series of commands you want to execute within the document
Step 4. Save the file and close the "Notepad" window
Step 5. Run the "filebatch.exe" file
Step 6. All commands within the file will be executed in the specified sequence
Method 2 of 2: Using RAAC
Step 1. First you need to download the program that allows you to bypass the limitations on your computer and access the Windows "Command Prompt"
Step 2. Once the download is complete, you will need to run the related EXE file
Inside the folder where you saved it you will find the file "RAAC x64.exe", in the case of a computer with a 64-bit operating system, or "RAAC x86.exe", in the case of a computer with a 32-bit architecture -bit.
Step 3. After starting the program, you will be faced with a graphical interface similar to the one shown in the image
Step 4. To add the "Command Prompt" or any other software to the RAAC list of processes to run, press the green "+" button
Step 5. After pressing the "+" button a pop-up window will appear with three options:
"Browse for programs", "Search for programs" or "Cancel". Choose the first one to be able to locate and select the "cmd.exe" program found at the following path "C: / Windows / System32 / cmd.exe".
Step 6. Open the "Command Prompt"
After adding the "cmd.exe" file to the list of programs to run with RAAC, select it with a mouse click and press the "Play" button at the top of the window. If you have done all the steps correctly, the "Command Prompt" window should appear as shown in the image.
Step 7. At this point you have access to the Windows "Command Prompt" with which you can execute any type of command using a normal user account, without the need to use a system administrator account
Advice
- In a school setting, it may be useful to have a partner who acts as a "stake" for you and who can alert you when the teacher is approaching.
- Learn to type quickly and correctly. The better you are at typing text quickly without making mistakes, the less likely you are to be caught red-handed.
Warnings
- Be very careful when performing this procedure because many private or corporate network administrators and IT professionals don't like normal users to have access to their system configurations.
- Do not perform this procedure when you are in school or when the risk of being caught red-handed is very high. Do this only when teachers or security staff can't see you.
- Remember that the responsibility for your actions and their consequences is yours alone.
