Do you have nosy neighbors who are too interested in the packages you receive? Or maybe you have an easy-barking dog who can't help himself when the bellboy rings the doorbell? Whatever the reason, you'll be happy to know that what you buy on Amazon can be delivered to a safe place, instead of standing on your doorstep. This is where Amazon Locker comes in! Read on to find out how to use this service.
Steps
Part 1 of 2: Choose Amazon Locker at Checkout
Step 1. Add the item you want to buy to your cart
To do this, go to the Amazon page with the item you are interested in and click on the yellow "Add to Cart" button visible on the right side of the screen.
If you are not logged in to your Amazon account yet, you will be prompted to enter your username and password after choosing to proceed with the purchase
Step 2. If the Amazon Locker option is available in your area, you will see a link under the shipping address
Click the link to choose the "locker" closest to you.
Step 3. You can choose it from the list or search for another one by entering an address, a postcode, a reference point or even the name of the locker
Most Amazon Lockers can be found in PAM and U2 supermarkets.
Step 4. After selecting the most convenient pick-up point for you, a page will appear where you can choose the shipping method you prefer
The available options are "standard" and "1 day". The latter mode is free for Amazon Prime members.
Step 5. Once you have chosen the shipping method, click on "Continue"
Step 6. Choose your payment method and click "Continue"
You can choose from the methods already associated with your account or add a new credit, debit card or gift card.
Step 7. Check the order and complete it
Part 2 of 2: Collect the package
Step 1. Keep an eye on your inbox
When your parcel arrives at your chosen collection point, you will receive a delivery notice. This notice contains the code needed to withdraw it.
Step 2. Go to the pickup point
Usually, the lockers are located near the entrance; if you don't find it, ask an employee.
Step 3. Follow the on-screen instructions and enter the pickup code
When the locker linked to your code opens, you can collect your package.
