Steps
Step 1. Press the Reply button
It is normally green in color. This is the method you will need to use most often to answer an incoming call when the screen is locked. This method works on most Motorola, Nexus, Asus and Samsung devices.
Step 2. Tap the white or green telephone handset icon
This is a common way of answering an incoming call on different smartphone models when the screen is locked, especially in the case of devices manufactured by Huawei.
Step 3. Swipe the handset icon to the right
It is usually green or white in color. This method works for many smartphones, regardless of whether the screen is locked or not, including some Samsung, Motorola, and Nexus device models.
Step 4. Swipe up the phone handset icon
This method works on several smartphone brands, including some Xiaomi and Motorola device models.
Step 5. Drag the white icon in the shape of a telephone handset onto the same green icon
This is the method used to answer incoming calls from most devices using the standard version of Android (e.g. Google and Motorola devices) when the screen is locked.
