Maybe it's your first day in middle school, you've just changed schools, or you just want to get noticed by someone special. Whatever the reason, you want to have a stunning look. Whether you are a girl or a boy, looking good in middle school is based on three simple rules: take care of your personal hygiene, choose the clothes that fit you best, and demonstrate a winning attitude. Read on to learn more.
Steps
Part 1 of 3: Tips for Everyone
Step 1. Get up at least one hour before class starts
You will have time to get ready, fill your backpack and have breakfast.
Step 2. Try to sleep for about eight or nine hours a night
You will feel rested and less likely to have bags and dark circles.
Step 3. Brush your teeth and floss
Do this for two minutes twice a day, or after each meal. You could use whitening toothpaste if your teeth are yellow.
Step 4. Rinse with mouthwash, which will further freshen your breath and help fight tooth decay
Step 5. Wear clothes that flatter your body and are clean
They don't have to be the trendiest and most expensive clothing in the world. They just have to fit and be fresh from the laundry. Try not to wear the same clothing all the time.
Step 6. You could cut your hair for the first day of school
Nothing more than a new look will help you improve your appearance.
Step 7. Wash your face twice a day using a cleanser suitable for your skin type
It will help you get rid of accumulated dirt and oil and makeup residue.
Step 8. Be nice to everyone, even people you don't like
Don't swear or insult people, not even in another language.
Step 9. Take care of your personal hygiene
Take a shower every day, while your hair should be washed every other day or less frequently, otherwise it will weigh down more easily. Use a pleasant scented soap or shower gel and put on the deodorant. Brush your teeth twice a day (three if you wear braces) and floss. Keep a lip balm handy so your lips are soft.
Step 10. Bring cute clothes
Jeans should fit snugly, while jeans that are too loose will make you look sloppy and won't flatter you. Wear shirts that fit your body. Change your underwear every day. If you are a girl, always wear a bra; Choose one that is the right size, so that when you bend over your breasts will stay snug, but they shouldn't choke you either. Shop at the stores your peers frequent, such as H&M, Zara, and Bershka.
Step 11. Wash your face
Puberty will soon begin, and it may be that you will have pimples or acne problems. Keeping your skin clean allows you to prevent the situation from getting worse and to fight the problem as it arises.
Step 12. If you are a girl, you may want to start wearing makeup
However, if you don't have permission, skip this step. In any case, don't overdo it. Apply mascara, neutral eyeshadow and a veil of blush. Do you have acne? Put the concealer, but without excess, or the result will be fake. Try to have a natural look.
Step 13. Stay healthy
Exercise, drink lots of water and don't skip meals. You will be beautiful inside and out. Also, get enough sleep so dark circles will decrease and you won't have a hard time concentrating in school, so your grades won't drop dramatically.
Part 2 of 3: Girls
Step 1. Detangle your hair with a wide-toothed comb
If they're particularly tangled, use a detangling brush or leave-in conditioner. Style them in a cute and appropriate way to go to school.
Step 2. Put on your makeup
You don't need numerous products to be pretty. Apply the concealer on dark circles and any imperfections. Add lip balm, tinted moisturizer, and mascara. Glosses are fine too. Avoid colors that are too dark or overly vivid.
Step 3. Create an emergency kit, which will come to your rescue when you need it
May contain:
-
Internal or external sanitary napkins.
-
Tricks.
-
Mints.
-
A mini brush or comb.
-
Hand cream.
-
A hair clip.
-
Deodorant.
Step 4. Go to the bathroom to mirror yourself and check that everything is okay
If necessary, adjust your hair and makeup.
Step 5. Always go to the bathroom before going to school, otherwise you may need it while in class and miss out on important information
If it's an emergency, ask a friend to take notes for you too.
Step 6. Don't flaunt anything or you will look presumptuous and obnoxious
Step 7. If you're trying to impress a guy, be yourself
Part 3 of 3: Guys
Step 1. If you want to wear a perfume, choose one that is fresh or pleasant to others, it should not be nauseating
Once you have found the one that's right for you, give it a maximum of one or two sprinkles if it's too strong. A good method is to spray it in front of you, then pass through the "cloud" created by the fragrance.
Step 2. Don't wear excessively low-rise pants
They shouldn't highlight underwear. It's not attractive, and the school dress code is likely not to approve of it.
Step 3. Be nice to girls, especially if you like them
Don't be unpleasant towards your partner you like. Girls hate this behavior, are bothered by it, and will not find you interesting.
Step 4. Don't use too much hair gel or your appearance won't look the best
Step 5. Don't dress in a style that doesn't belong to you just to hit a girl
You won't get what you want, and you will sound like "I wish but I can't".
Advice
- If you are a girl, don't go overboard with your makeup.
- Wear hoodies, shorts, skinny jeans, fitted tops and flannel shirts. Socks Uggs and Converse high. All these clothes and shoes are cute and suitable for your age.
- If you don't have permission to wear makeup or you don't want to, don't worry about it. Just because other girls are passionate about makeup, that doesn't mean you have to be too. Your parents will have their reasons if they don't let you.
- Remember that your every outfit must be comfortable and stylish.
- Dress appropriately.
- Drink lots of water.
- If you want to be popular, try being nice to guys who are. Do they behave badly with you? Leave them alone and don't go out of your way to be friends with them. You shouldn't force a friendship with people who make you uncomfortable. Let's face it: Popular and unsympathetic guys often don't have as many friends as modest, friendly guys (which is why sociable guys end up becoming more popular). Make friends with people you like and love.
- Be yourself. Never do something just to be accepted by others, do it for yourself.
- Cut your hair at the hairdresser before school starts; choose a nice look.
- Don't give too much importance to clothing brands. It is useless to do so.
- Use inexpensive shampoo and conditioner brands, such as Dove or Herbal Essences. In any case, only by experimenting will you understand which products are right for you.
- Be gentle. Nobody cares about your appearance unless you are a good person.
Warnings
- Don't go hungry.
- Don't wear clothes that make you uncomfortable. You won't feel confident, and your attitude will also suffer.
- Never pretend to be what you are not.
- Never wear clothes that are too tight or that show too many inches of skin.
- If you are a girl, don't wear too much makeup.
- Don't tell everyone how much your clothes cost you. It's in bad taste. And then others will think that you would pay anything to buy clothes that you could still buy at a lower price.
- If you overdo the makeup, you will get a fake effect.
