Drawing a farm is quite fun; you just have to keep in mind the elements that can be encountered in a rural setting. By following the instructions in this article, you can learn how to do it in just a few steps.
Steps
Step 1. Create the background
Draw curved lines starting from the right side of the paper and reaching the bottom. Add two more such lines on top of the first one forming a couple of rounded hills.
Step 2. Draw the shape of a squat arrow that represents the front facade of the building
Add a small diamond on the left that forms the wall; at this point, the barn doesn't look very defined but don't worry, it will take shape very quickly.
Step 3. Outline two rectangles
One will become the door and the other the barn window; you can also trace other doors and windows in different areas of the structure, but do not overdo it so as not to risk obtaining an unnatural effect.
Step 4. Draw the roof following the proposed image as a reference
Remember that it must cover the entire building; define a smaller rectangle inside each window to make the fixtures and an envelope-like border for the door.
Step 5. Add details, such as a grain silo on the back
You can also draw farm animals (cows, pigs, sheep, and so on), as well as clouds in the blue sky.
Step 6. Color the artwork
Use blue for the sky, red for most of the barn, white for the details of the doors and windows, green for the pasture and yellow for the cultivated fields!
