There are countless types of spoons: broth, tea, dessert, egg and so on. Each of them is different, but they can all be defined with the same basic characteristics. This article discusses two methods for drawing a simple everyday spoon.
Steps
Step 1. Draw the spoon handle
To make the handle, draw an elongated drop and curve it slightly at the end.
Step 2. Make the body of the spoon by drawing an oval attached to the handle
Step 3. Using the outline as a reference point, draw a line along the base of the spoon to give it depth
Step 4. Color the drawing
Use gray, black and white to create a metallic effect.
Method 1 of 1: Alternative Procedure
Step 1. Draw a diagonal line
Step 2. Add an oval shape on top of the line to create the concave vane
Step 3. Draw the handle
Feel free to modify the shape of the handle as you wish.
Step 4. Add a decoration on top of the handle
Alternatively, leave it smooth.
Step 5. Trace the outline of the spoon to define and finish the design
You can use any tool you want (for example ink or a marker). Make sure you clear the remaining guidelines.
Step 6. Color the spoon
Add highlights and shadows and that's it!
