Part 1 of 4: Staying Peaceful and Peaceful
Step 1. Try to sleep
Sleep is the surest way to help you recover faster. It may help to read a little to tire you out. Get as much sleep as you want. There is no need to get up early when you are sick.
Step 2. Give yourself a quiet moment with no one around to make a noise
Turn off the TV and do not use electronic devices.
Step 3. Relax as best you can
Do some yoga, stretching, or meditation. Do not do anything that makes you uncomfortable or worsens the symptoms of the disease.
Go relax in the fresh air. If it's not too cold, go outside and get some fresh air and sit somewhere. You can just relax on the porch
Step 4. Gather all the things you will need throughout the day
This includes tissues, cough drops, snacks, TV remotes, etc. Take a seat on the sofa and indulge in laziness all day. Watch some of your favorite TV shows. Watch the special uncut episodes for a change. Or, watch a movie. If one of your favorite shows doesn't air, record something in advance, or use an online rental service like Netflix.

Step 5. Put on your favorite comfortable pajamas
Make sure you're warm enough (or cool enough) and don't wear something that itches or overwhelms you.
Part 2 of 4: Quiet Things to Do
Step 1. Take some time to think about the things you had in mind recently
It feels good to finally iron out some things.
Step 2. Start reading a good book
Think about the plot and characters and why you find the tale compelling.
Step 3. Read a magazine
National Geographic, travel and trivia magazines might be a little childish, but they make you feel better because they give you something non-binding to read.
Step 4. Have a conversation with yourself
It may sound strange, but it is really interesting to hear what you have to say.
Step 5. If you are feeling really tired and sick and don't have the energy to be at the computer or to start doing some kind of activity, lie down on the sofa or bed
Drink something hot like a honey and lemon drink, and get a stack of old magazines.
Step 6. Watch the pets
If you really don't want to do anything, watch your pets!
Part 3 of 4: Easy things to do
Step 1. Take a relaxing bath or hot shower
A nice warm bath will help make you feel better and relaxed.
Step 2. Set up a shelter with the blanket and pillow and use it to sleep
But if you feel really bad, do this when you feel better.
Step 3. Play on the computer
Don't overdo it though; if it makes you feel worse, stop.
Step 4. Take photos
Take pictures of yourself, the outside world, pets, anything!
Step 5. Trim your fingernails and toenails
Are they very long? Fix them. Do you need to polish your nails? Time to do it.
Step 6. Walk outside for a while, or just sit outside
Sometimes getting some fresh air helps.
Step 7. Shoot foam darts using your favorite TV shows to target
Boom! Hit it!
Step 8. Send messages to your friends
They may have interesting gossip that you missed at work or school, or express their displeasure about your illness.
Step 9. Play your favorite game
Step 10. If you can move, cook something
It helps keep your mind busy and you have something good to eat afterwards.
Step 11. Play on your cell phone, iPod, etc. to keep yourself busy
However, if you get a headache or feel unwell, get some rest instead of calling a friend, texting, or chatting on the computer.
Part 4 of 4: Creative Ideas
Step 1. Draw
Even if you're not good at drawing, it can be fun to try and do some artistic scribbling.
Step 2. Look at old pictures
They can bring back pleasant memories and old memories when you are sick in bed.
Step 3. Research your family tree
Discover long lost ancestors.
Step 4. Listen to some music
Don't put it too hard, however; not good, especially when you are sick.
Learn every word of your favorite song. Search the lyrics and sing them a couple of times
Step 5. Finish any home projects you haven't completed yet
Now would be a good time to sort your papers or track down the missing slipper. However, you are sick so don't get tired.
Step 6. Collect stacks of paper
Make paper airplanes or other origami figures.
Step 7. Catch up on school work
It may not be wonderful, but you will be happy when you return to school to find that you are not behind.
Step 8. Start planning what you intend to do when you get better
Step 9. Write down your dreams
Draw or describe your dream home. Add small details like carpet patterns or colors. Draw or describe the theme or plot of your favorite book or movie. You could draw a picture of your favorite Harry Potter scene, or write what you would do in the character situation. List the ideal characteristics of the pet you dream of or the boyfriend / girlfriend / wife / husband. Describe the equipment or job you dream of. Make a collage with all the pictures of the things you dream of and / or list them and put them in paragraphs, to make your dream life.
Advice
- Make sure you don't eat plenty of junk foods; they will make you feel worse. Try to eat some healthy fruits, you will have the satisfaction of sweetness, but not the feeling of feeling full.
- Dim the lights, it will help you relax your body and heal faster.
- Don't have friends or family on you, and if you do, be careful not to infect them.
- Open a window to get some fresh air, so you will feel the room less stuffy.
- Ask your family to help you. If you feel unwell and can't get up, you could ask them to bring you something to read, eat, or do.
- If you are bored, research your favorite topic and learn new and interesting things to use later to impress your friends and family!
- Do everything in small doses. Don't spend the whole day sleeping or phoning. Do a little bit of everything.
- Boil a good amount of water (or ask someone else to do it) and make yourself a cup of your favorite tea. You can pour yourself a cup whenever you want and you don't have to keep the water boiling.
- If sinuses are the culprit, use hot steam or a nebulizer. If you don't have one, boil some water and stand next to the jug.
- If you have a boyfriend / girlfriend, write a message. He will surely reply to you and be sorry for you.
- If you have a headache, it is best to walk and ignore it, if you pay more attention to it you will feel the pain more.
Warnings
- Do not overdo it (playing, running, doing sports and the like). It could make you feel even worse.
- Try not to infect your family. It's hard not to do something with family members, but this is how we usually spread and share germs.
- If you are vomiting, or have a virus causing it, it is convenient to have a container, bucket, or even a bin in close proximity. This also helps to clean up quickly when you're not feeling well.
- Don't go to the pool. This can spread germs and can make you sick more!
