Step 4. Set aside (or leave the chicken to marinate overnight)
Step 5. Open the beer can and make two more openings in the top of the can

Step 7. Transfer the chicken from the can to the barbecue
Place it on the central part of the grid, keeping it balanced on both legs and the can as a tripod.
Step 8. Cook the chicken on medium heat, ventilated to prevent burning, and cover it
Cook for 1 1/4 hours or until the core temperature of the chicken reaches 74ºC in the breast and 83ºC in the thigh, or until the legs, pricked with a sharp knife, release a transparent cooking juice.
Step 9. Cover with the lid and let it cook
Step 10. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving
Advice
Don't overcook the chicken
Warnings
- The artificial colors and substances used in the can have no regulations. Also, sadly, breweries aren't required to write the chemicals they use on the outside of the can.
- The can gets hot, so be careful when removing it from the chicken.
- The chemicals used to coat the outside of the cans are not subjected to the heat of an oven in the manufacturing process, and could result in chemical reactions subjected to the heat of cooking. Such reactions can be toxic or even carcinogenic without necessarily having a discernible odor.
