Believe it or not, it is possible to shut down a computer without pressing any buttons and without using the 'Start' menu. All you need is the simplest program that exists: 'Notepad'!
Steps
Step 1. Open 'Notepad' on your computer
Access the 'Start' menu, select the 'Programs' item, choose 'Accessories' and finally select the 'Notepad' option.
Step 2. In the window that appeared, type the following command:
'shutdown -s -t 45' (without quotes).
Step 3. Save the file with the '.bat' extension when finished
Step 4. Run the newly created batch file
A dialog box will appear that will shut down the computer after a 45 second wait.
Step 5. You can modify your program if you wish, using the command 'shutdown -a' (without quotes)
After saving the changes, select the icon of your file with the right mouse button and choose the item 'Create link' from the context menu that appeared. Now select the icon of the link to your file with the right mouse button, and choose the item 'Properties' from the context menu that appeared. Select the 'Connection' tab of the 'Properties' window and press the 'Change Icon' button. Now all you have to do is select the icon related to the computer shutdown
