Have you ever wanted to visit a website by simply clicking on a link instead of opening the web browser and having to enter the entire address? You can do this via a desktop link that you can use whenever you want. Fortunately, it only takes 5 minutes to do it!
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Quick Connect

Step 1. Go to the website

Step 2. Go up

Step 3. Right click

Step 4. Click create link

Step 5. A window will appear

Step 6. You will see "a link has been added to your desktop"
Method 2 of 2: Wizard to create the Shortcut

Step 1. Go to the site in question

Step 2. Highlight the web address

Step 3. Right click and select "Copy" (or press the keys

).

Step 4. Go to the desk

Step 5. Right click and select "New"

Step 6. Then click "Link" (Windows) or "Link" (KDE)

Step 7. A wizard will appear

Step 8. You will see written "Write the position of the object:
"Right click and select" Paste "(or press the keys

).

Step 9. Click "Continue"

Step 10. In the line "Write the name of the object:
Write what you want the link to be called, for example WikiHow.

Step 11. Click on "Done"
Advice
- Make sure there is "http:" in the web address.
- If you don't have the page open, you may not have the icon on the link.
