The feature that allows you to view two images side by side is ideal when you need to make visual comparisons or photo collages for blogs and web pages. To place two images side by side, it is possible to use applications such as PhotoJoiner, Picisto or the HTML code within web platforms such as WordPress or Blogger.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Using PhotoJoiner
Step 1. Visit the official PhotoJoiner site using the following URL
Step 2. Click the "Select Photos" button, then select the first photo you want to use
The chosen image will be displayed on the PhotoJoiner page.
Step 3. Click the "Select Photos" button again, then select the second image to use
It will appear to the right of the first photo you chose.
Step 4. Select the "Margin between images" check button if desired
This feature allows you to add a margin between the two images so that they appear separate.
Step 5. Click on the "Join Photos" button
The selected images will be merged into one file.
Step 6. Select the resulting image with the right mouse button, then choose the "Save Image As" option
Step 7. Name the image file, then click the "Save" button
The photo you created using the two original images will be saved to your computer.
Method 2 of 3: Using Picisto
Step 1. Visit the Picisto website using the following URL
Step 2. Click on the "Signup" button located in the upper right corner of the page, then follow the on-screen instructions to create a free account
Before you can use the services offered by the Picisto platform, you will need to create an account.
Step 3. Click on the "Side by Side" item after logging in
Step 4. Click on the "Upload / Choose Photo" option, then click on the "Browse" button and select the first image to use
The chosen image will be displayed on the Picisto page.
Alternatively, you can choose to upload one of your images that you have published on Facebook, Instagram, on a web page or you can capture it via the webcam or the camera of the device
Step 5. Click the "Upload / Choose Photo" option again, click the "Browse" button and select the second image to use
The latter will be displayed to the right of the first one you have chosen.
Step 6. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "Finish and Save Photo" link
A message will be displayed to let you know that the image was successfully saved.
Step 7. Scroll down the page to be able to click on the "Download" option
Step 8. Select the "Save" item to save the final image on the desktop
At this point, the two starting images were placed side by side and used to create a third image which was then saved on your computer.
Method 3 of 3: Use HTML Code
Step 1. Activate the "edit" mode of your blog post or web page on which you want to publish the two images side by side
Step 2. Insert both images separately within the blog post
Next, you'll need to drag them to a different section of the post to be able to view them side by side.
Step 3. Click on the "HTML" tab of your post
This is where you are going to paste the HTML code that will allow you to view the two images side by side.
Step 4. Place the text cursor where you want the two images to appear side by side, then paste the following text:

Step 5. Click on the "Text" or "Text" tab of your post
Two gray boxes should now appear, inside which you will see the words "foto_1" and "foto_2".
Step 6. Click on the first image and drag it into the gray box called "photo_1"
Step 7. Click on the second image and drag it into the gray box labeled "photo_2"
If you are having difficulty in dragging the images inside the two gray boxes, return to the post tab where the HTML code is visible, then replace the text "photo_1" and "photo_2" with the following code:. The value of the "width" attribute can be changed according to your needs
Step 8. At this point, you can delete the words "photo_1" and "photo_2" displayed under each photo
The images you have chosen should appear side by side within the post.
