Do you want to write a book or a poem? Do you want your work to be noticed by the public? Perhaps you have not given the right weight to the choice of the title, forgetting that it is a very important part. If an editor or publisher is not interested in your title, they will likely discard it. If you want your work to go far, follow the advice in this guide and find out how to come up with a successful title for your book.
Steps
Step 1. Sit back and relax
Listen to baroque music, such as Vivaldi's. Dim the lights and shut out noises. Take a deep breath and close your eyes in front of your paper and pen, or in front of your computer.
Step 2. Think about which line of your work you prefer
Think about the keywords. What are the terms that emerge? Which words best describe the subject of your work?
Step 3. Write down your keywords
Make up some of your own.
Step 4. Merge keywords
Or just look for terms that have the same meaning. Act as you please.
Step 5. What is the book about?
Does it focus around a particular character (such as Harry Potter)? Does it tell a crime, a story of action, romantic or fantasy? If it's an action book, be creative; title it for example "John's Killer" or "Persecuting your soul", etc.
