Toothpaste and a toothbrush or a soft rag are the answer. Or try some of the other ideas below!
Steps
Step 1. Use a white, non-gel toothpaste and apply a small amount directly to the wooden cabinet
With a soft-bristled toothbrush, with a soft rag, rub the toothpaste onto the stain in circular motions.
Step 2. Be patient
Before the marker marks are completely removed, you may need to apply the toothpaste several times.
Step 3. When the toothpaste has taken on the color of the ink, remove it and start cleaning again from step 1
Advice
- Alternatively, use baking soda and a damp cloth. Gently rub the baking soda over the marker marks.
- Try using Mastro Lindo's magic eraser or a similar product, it also works on bamboo objects! If necessary, apply a specific oil to restore brilliance to the wood.
- Try using a suitable whiteboard solvent. Before starting test the product on a small area of wood that is not visible and make sure it is not damaged.
- Try using sunscreen.
