Learn how to write a story for a movie with these instructions.
Steps
Step 1. Material
You should gather everything you need to write the subject. You should get your pens, pencils, paper, erasers, and pencil sharpeners.
Step 2. Think
You should sit back and let your imagination run wild. Imagine how you want the story to be.
Step 3. Decision
You have to make a decision and determine what kind of story you want to write. If the plot of the film has been assigned to you, start with that idea.
Step 4. Build
You have to make the story from scratch. If you want some ideas you should read some books that have to do with the plot of the film. This will give you interesting ideas for writing.
Step 5. Draft
You should write a draft of the subject. Review it yourself and decide if it's how you want it. If you are not satisfied, write another draft.
Step 6. Criticism
You should show the draft to someone you trust. Have him read the draft and tell him what he likes or dislikes. This way you know what you can correct and what is okay.
Step 7. Sample
You should write a lot of subject pages. Show it around as a champion. This will give the people you work with an idea of how the story is developing.
Step 8. Edit
When you are done, check again and again to find the errors. If you get the chance, take the subject to a story editor and have them review it. If you have a professional who can do it for you for free, don't hold back.
Step 9. Call
You should call all the important people you work for or want to work for. Let him know that you have finished writing the subject.
Advice
- Don't be discouraged if you get criticism for your draft. It is the natural course of writing.
