You will need a quantity of pieces of wood with a 5x10 cm section, at least 8, as long as you want one side of the pool to be, and a quantity of others for the scaffolding; at least 20 supports will be needed depending on the height of the pool.
Steps
Step 1. Build pool side braces by placing two pool length pieces of wood on the floor
Decide what length you want the pool to be, then cut the wood to that length without the 5x10cm width.
Step 2. Screw the pieces to the wood at a distance of a minimum of 30 to a maximum of 60 cm
Step 3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until you have 4 supports like this
Step 4. Cut 4 pieces of plywood to the height and length of the supports
Attach them to the front of the scaffold.
Step 5. Now you need to build the side scaffold to keep the water inside
You can draw both scaffolding or use this template. Build a 5 x 10 cm box at the height of the pool with another 5 x 10 cm piece inside, placed diagonally. Try to make sure the wood inside goes from the top of the pool to the ground, to the bottom of the base.
Step 6. Build at least 4 on each side, and attach them to the 5x10cm inside the wall scaffold
Step 7. Attach the walls together by putting them together in pairs and screwing the sides together, or you can place a log on the corners and connect the walls through it
The first method is the easiest and the simplest, you just need long screws.
Step 8. Screw the pool walls to the floor from the brackets and the pool walls themselves, using many, many, many screws
Step 9. Place the liner within the pool walls you connected, then screw 2.5x10 or 2.5x7.5cm screws onto the top of the pool walls to secure the plastic
Step 10. Fill the pool with water
Step 11. Finished
Advice
- You don't need to use a pump to fill the pool, but it would help keep it clean.
- You can line the pool floor with the plywood to try to help, but it's not necessary.
- If you don't put chemicals in the pool or use the recent UV method, then the pool will become disgusting in a few days at most, maybe (at least) one day only.
Warnings
- If water leaks, you will have to clean it up or the floor may warp depending on the extent of the phenomenon.
- The deeper the pool, the greater the water pressure will press on the sides of the pool - be prepared for a catastrophic event on the walls.
