UGG is a company specializing in the production of sheepskin boots. It offers a wide range of models. Unfortunately, quality comes at a price. Make sure your UGG boots are really quality before you buy them.
Steps
Step 1. Think about how you got them
UGG boots never arrive at your door in a purse. You can only buy them in a UGG store.
Step 2. Check the height of your boots
The counterfeit boots are too high; you can only notice the difference if you have an authentic pair available to compare.
Step 3. Examine the box in which they are sold
The boxes are very different. The fake ones have a hinged lid, handles, different designs and are voluminous.
Step 4. Turn the boot over and check the heel tag
The label fonts are too large and incorrectly stylized. Additionally, the strands on the label will also be misaligned and asymmetrical. The label will be wider and poorly sewn. It is quite difficult to notice the differences between genuine and fake labels.
Step 5. Touch the fur inside the boots
Synthetic fur is smooth, velvety and simply looks fake. Real hair is slightly rougher and thicker. Counterfeit boots have synthetic fur inside, which cannot be seen from the boot opening. There is a layer of foam between the inner and outer lining of the boot.
Step 6. Fold the sole of the boot
Genuine UGG boots are flexible and comfortable for walking, while counterfeit ones are stiff and hard.
Step 7. Check if they are sold with a tag attached
Tags are not used on authentic UGG products.
Step 8. Look at the safety label behind the size and material label in the left shoe or boot
If you turn it around, you'll see 3D suns at the bottom of the UGG label. If you turn it 90 degrees, it will change color, from white to black.
Step 9. Evaluate the comfort of the fit
The instep of the counterfeit boot should be angled towards your toes, thus not providing adequate space for a comfortable foot bed.
Step 10. Check the label on the box
Genuine labels feature a photo of the product and the top half of the barcode is colored.
