Step 2. Put 2 cups of sugar in a bowl
Mix it to make sure there are no lumps. When you're done, gently tap the surface with a spoon.
Step 3. After the sugar is ready, pour the hot water over it
With a whisk, mix well until the sugar dissolves completely. Make sure there are no lumps - some can stick to the sides of the bowl.
Step 4. Pour the lemon juice into the bowl with the hot water and sugar
