Steps
Method 1 of 2: Convert. Numbers Files to. Xls Files
Step 1. Open the.numbers file on a Mac computer
Step 2. Email the document to yourself
Step 3. Open the email containing the document on an iOS device with the Numbers app installed
Step 4. Press the file you attached to the message
Step 5. Press "Open in Numbers" in the upper right corner of the screen
Step 6. Wait for the download to finish, then press the wrench icon in the top right corner of the screen
Step 7. Select "Sharing and Printing"
Step 8. Select "Email Spreadsheet"
Step 9. Select "Excel"
Step 10. Type your email address in the field above
Step 11. Press "Submit"
Step 12. Open the email on your computer, download the attachment and your file will be converted to XLS format

Step 1. Open the Excel document on a Mac or Windows computer
Step 2. Email the.xls file to yourself
Step 3. Open the email on an iOS device with the Numbers app installed
Step 4. Press the file you attached to the message
Step 5. Press "Open in Numbers" in the upper right corner of the screen
Step 6. Wait for the download and conversion to finish, then press the wrench icon in the upper right corner of the screen
