You can use your PayPal account to send or receive money online, both from Banking Institutions and from other PayPal users. PayPal is also used as a debit card and those who work online use it to credit the fees. Small businesses and individuals use PayPal for secure credit card transactions.
During the registration phase, you are asked to enter a current account number, the number of a credit or prepaid card. Note that you can always add your credit card number later. If your credit card is linked to rewards or points campaigns, using your credit card with PayPal you will not lose them and indeed, you will also have the advantage of not having to communicate your credit card number!
Steps
Step 1. Log into your PayPal account
If you are not registered yet, go to the main PayPal page. Click "Register" and then you will be asked which type of account you are interested in, whether private or business. Once this choice has been made, a page will open that you will have to fill in with all the required data. You will receive a confirmation email at the address indicated. Click on the "Activate my account" link in the email to confirm and you will be automatically connected.
Step 2. Place your cursor over the "Profile" item in the menu bar on the page
Select "Add or Remove Credit Card". You can also click on "Connect and confirm your credit or debit card" in the "Notifications" section.
Step 3. Click on "Add a card" and then proceed with filling in all the required fields:
name, surname, card type, number, check digit, expiry date and billing address. You can use any card as long as it has the Visa or MasterCard logo.
Step 4. Wait for PayPal to automatically confirm your billing address, this will take about 30 seconds
You can verify the correct insertion of the credit card if it is displayed in the section "Wallet" - "Credit and prepaid cards". Note that only the last 4 digits and the expiration date will be displayed.
Step 5. Check for any other credit cards you have entered
Whenever you add a credit card to your PayPal account, you can modify or delete it by simply clicking on the "Edit" or "Remove" buttons.
