It is rarely a good idea to squeeze pimples, as there is a risk of scars or infections. If you can't do without it, the best way to prevent any complications is to use a needle. Alternatively, even wiping with a damp cloth can gently remove the white spot on the top of the boil. It is generally not recommended to press it with your hands, but this system can be used if the other methods are too difficult.

Part 1 of 5: Finding Out If It Is Possible to Squeeze the Pimple
Step 1. Squeeze a white dot
Whiteheads usually last a couple of days and form as a result of a buildup of pus under the skin. They are easy to crush and, if handled with care, can be safely disposed of without causing infection or scarring.
Step 2. Don't press the newly popped pimples
Pimples that appear within a day or two are not yet ready to be squeezed. Wait for a white dot to appear on top.
Step 3. Don't squeeze large, red, or sore pimples
You run the risk of developing an infection. Also, if you press a large pimple, it is very likely that a scar will remain. Only those that have white pus inside are ready to be squeezed.
Step 4. Consult a dermatologist
The dermatologist is able to determine the best treatment to cure acne, prescribing some cream that will allow you to solve this problem. In addition, he can use various procedures to alleviate the most severe forms of acne.
- The most common dermatological treatment involves the prescription of a topical cream, applied to the pimples, which goes to remove the fat in the skin and kill the bacteria that cause acne.
- For red, swollen pimples, oral antibiotics, hormonal contraceptive pills, or isotretinoin may be prescribed.
- Large cysts caused by acne can be eliminated by the dermatologist by extracting them and draining the pus.
- The dermatologist is able to pierce the pimple with a pin safely. Technique that should only be performed by qualified personnel.
- Lasers and chemical peels can help treat the underlying causes of acne, but they don't remove current cysts.
Step 5. Limit the formation of other pimples by washing your face regularly

Step 1. Wash your hands

Part 3 of 5: Pierce the Pimple with a Pin
Step 1. Sterilize a pin with fire
Use a match or lighter to heat and disinfect it. Keep the flame burning for a few seconds to kill all bacteria.
Step 2. Let the pin cool down
Give it a minute to cool down. Don't let it be so hot that it burns you when you use it to squeeze the pimple.
Step 3. Sterilize everything with denatured alcohol

Step 4. Bring the pin to your face
You do not have to orient the pin perpendicular to the face, but keep it parallel so that you only pierce the tip when you go to prick the pimple.
Step 5. Pierce the end of the white dot
Don't touch anything other than the white part of the pimple. If you get into the red one, you risk causing a scar. Then, insert the pin into the upper area of the pimple, passing it on one side and out of the other.
Step 6. Pull out the pin
It should go through the white tip of the pimple. Pull it out, taking care to move it away from your face, so that the white end breaks when you pull it out.
Step 7. Gently press around the white point
Don't squeeze the white top. Instead, press the outer area of the pimple so that the pus comes out. You should use a cotton swab to prevent further skin damage.
Step 8. Apply alcohol to the pimple
Use a cotton swab to apply alcohol to the affected area and clean it of any bacteria. Spread a small amount of bacitracin cream on the area.
Part 4 of 5: Squeeze the Pimple with a Warm Cloth
Step 1. Wet a cloth with warm water
Run the water until it is hot, but not too hot to burn your hands. Pass the cloth under the tap until it is soaked.
Step 2. Squeeze it
The cloth should be wet, but not dripping. Squeeze it to remove excess water.
Step 3. Place it on the pimple
Apply the cloth to the pimple for a few minutes. Let it cool down. This way, the water will seep into the boil, preparing it for the next step.
Step 4. Slide the cloth over the pimple
Move a finger lightly, sliding the cloth over the pimple. Once the top has weakened, just pick it up without damaging the surrounding skin.
This method seems slow and difficult, but it involves less skin damage than one that allows you to act directly on the pimple
Step 5. Repeat the operation if necessary
If the white end doesn't fall out on the first try, try again. The heat and humidity should be enough to soften it without damaging the skin.
Part 5 of 5: Squeeze the Pimple with Your Hands
Step 1. Place two fingers around the top of the pimple
Place two fingers on either side of the boil, just below the white spot. You should easily feel the area full of sebum. After locating this area, move your fingertips slightly to push the pus outward.
- If the liquid doesn't come out, move your fingertips slightly around the pimple and try again.
- If the pus is still inside the pimple, stop. It means that it is not yet ready to be crushed. You can wait a few days or let it disappear on its own.
Step 2. Massage the skin around the pimple
This way, you will push the residual pus out. Continue until the pimple is completely emptied, without touching it except to wipe off the internal liquid with a tissue. Some blood might come out. In this case, stop pushing it and leave it alone, otherwise you risk putting too much pressure on the swollen area and causing a scar.
Step 3. Clean the area with alcohol
Again, you need to make sure that bacteria don't get into the skin. Also, consider applying a small amount of bacitracin cream to protect the affected area.
Advice
- Do not scratch the surface of the pimple, otherwise you could damage the skin and create a scar.
- Do not rub the skin in an attempt to get rid of the pimple. This way, you will only make the situation worse.
- If you have acne problems, you should see a dermatologist. He will be able to help you!
- It is better not to crush it. It will disappear naturally. Good hygiene can help prevent acne or pimples from forming. Some types of acne and pimples last 2-3 days or at least a week.
- To prevent more pimples from forming, check your diet and clean your face every day.
- Eventually all pimples go away on their own. If you don't squeeze them, you will minimize the risk of infections and scarring.
