Have you recently pierced your earlobes, removed your earrings and can't put them back on? Don't panic! Just follow these steps to be able to put them back in safely.
Steps
Step 1. Place an ice cube wrapped in absorbent paper on the earlobe to reduce swelling and redness
Sometimes it is not possible to put the earring on for the simple fact that the inflammation has caused the hole to narrow or close.
Step 2. Find a well-lit place with a mirror
Step 3. Insert the earring in the opposite direction
In other words, pass it through the back of the lobe. Don't worry if you can't get it out completely.
Step 4. Insert the earring from the front of the lobe and continue turning it until you find the exit hole
Although not recommended, if the hole has partially closed in the back you can try to reopen it; it will hurt a little, but nothing unbearable.
Step 5. Wash the ear with cold water or put another ice cube if the earlobe is still swollen
Step 6. Apply antibiotic cream or the product you purchased when you pierced the earlobes, especially if blood was leaking or if the hole was closed
Advice
If you have the opportunity to contact someone who knows about earrings, for example a friend, your mom, etc., you should really ask for their help
Warnings
- If you try to put the earring in the bathroom, stay away from the sink to prevent it from falling into the drain pipe.
- If you are very young, do not take medicine without first asking a responsible adult.
