Vitamin E oil is effective in making hair and skin more beautiful. It can be used to moisturize the face, but you can also massage it into the scalp to invigorate the hair and use it to treat scars. Preparing it is easy and requires very few ingredients.
Steps
Method 1 of 2: Prepare Vitamin E Oil
Step 1. Measure 1/2 cup of a base oil
Help yourself with a measuring cup. Since you'll be using it on your skin and hair, make sure it's organic and non-comedogenic so it won't clog pores and cause blemishes. Here are some oils you could use:
- Argan oil.
- Hemp seed oil.
- Sunflower oil.
- Safflower oil.
Step 2. Pour the oil into a dark brown or cobalt blue container with the help of a funnel, so as not to drop it
Insert the funnel into the bottle and pour in the oil you measured. The container should be dark brown or cobalt blue to protect the vitamin E oil, preventing it from spoiling or oxidizing due to light.
Step 3. Open 4 vitamin E capsules (400 IU each) and pour the contents into the bottle, always using the funnel
If you prefer, you can pierce the capsules with a needle, then squeeze the vitamin E into the bottle.
If you have vitamin E oil in liquid form rather than in capsules, measure about 1 teaspoon and add it to the base oil
Step 4. If you want, add a few drops of an essential oil of your choice
Measure 3-5 drops and pour them into the bottle. Here are some of the most suitable oils:
- Pink.
- Lilac.
- Lavender.
- Orange.
- Lemon.
- Peppermint.
Step 5. Mix the oils
Close the bottle and turn it upside down. Put it back upright and turn it over again. Repeat several times to make sure you mix the oils well.
Method 2 of 2: Store and Use the Oil
Step 1. Keep it in the fridge
This storage mode will make it last longer because it will be protected from light and will keep cool. Close it tightly before putting it in the fridge.
Warm the bottle in your hands for one minute before use. Also, turn it upside down and put it back upright several times
Step 2. If this is your first time using it, try it on a small area of your skin
Some people may have an allergic reaction, so it's a good idea to get tested before applying it to a large area.
To test it, apply 1-2 drops on the inside of your wrist and massage it. Wait 24 hours, then check the area to see if any redness, dryness, itching, or swelling has occurred. Do not use it if you have an allergic reaction. If your skin doesn't have any problems, go ahead and use it
Step 3. Use a small amount
It doesn't take much to hydrate the face, hair and other parts of the body well. Pour a few drops into the palm of your hand and add more if necessary.
- Although vitamin E oil is non-comedogenic, using it in large quantities can clog pores.
- Discontinue use if there is a rash. Some people see pimples and blemishes appear despite the oil being non-comedogenic.
Step 4. Wash your face and remove make-up (if necessary) before applying vitamin E oil
Applying it to clean skin will be more effective and will hardly clog pores.
Step 5. Apply it to the scars with a cotton swab or cotton swab
Vitamin E oil is in fact effective in reducing old scars, making them smaller or less visible. Consult a dermatologist to determine how often to treat them.
Do not apply it to cracked skin or open wounds
Step 6. Massage it into the scalp with your fingertips
Vitamin E oil is effective for polishing hair or massaging the scalp. In this case, work it on the roots, applying it all over the head. Pour a small amount into the palm of your hand, dip your fingertips into it and proceed with the treatment.
