Method 1 of 2: Method 1: First Alternative
Step 1. Take some petroleum jelly with a knife and pour it into the center of a large spoon
Make sure you don't put it near the edges because it will pop out of the spoon when it melts.
Step 2. Cut a small piece of lipstick and place it in the spoon, next to the petroleum jelly
Step 3. Do the same with the lip balm
Step 4. Heat the hair straightener for 2 minutes
Step 5. Insert the spoon under the plate and rest the handle on something tall
Step 6. Stir gently with the stick for a few seconds
Step 7. When the mixture is completely dissolved, remove the spoon from the heat source
Mix well and remove the lumps.
Step 8. Pour the mixture into a container
Let it cool before use.
Method 2 of 2: Method 2: Second Alternative
Step 1. Mix all the oils and beeswax in a bowl
Step 2. Melt the mixture in the microwave for about 30-60 seconds
Rotate the bowl to mix the oils and wax.
Step 3. Add the extract to the mixture and mix again
Step 4. Pour the mixture into a container
Use a spoon if necessary.
Step 5. Let it sit for about half an hour without the lid
Step 6. Soften your lips with the "homemade" lip balm you just created
Advice
- Add oils, vitamin E, or shea butter. If your skin is sensitive make sure the ingredients are gentle.
- For a particular taste you can use aromas with extracts (vanilla, orange, etc.)
- To cool down the lip gloss quickly put it in the refrigerator for 5 minutes, then remove it and let it rest for another 3 minutes at room temperature.
- Use lip gloss when your lips are dry and chapped or before going out.
- Make lots of glosses and give them to your friends. Use different colors and aromas.
- After pouring the gloss into the container, quickly dust some glitter on the surface before it solidifies. This way you will have a gloss with glitter!
- Don't choose extravagant colors like blue, green, silver, dark purple, gold, etc. Instead, choose colors that suit your lips, such as light or dark pink, red, light purple or orange.
- Mix sugar and olive oil, massage it on your lips and then rinse everything off. Finally apply the lip balm.
- Decorate the container with stickers. Hearts, flowers, lips, lipsticks and stars are perfect symbols for a gloss.
Warnings
- Be very careful with the hair straightener, it can get very hot. Also, you may get an electric shock when you put your spoon under it, so be extra careful.
- Follow all the steps faithfully and make sure the gloss has cooled before using it, otherwise it may still be too runny and too hot.
- If you don't want to risk germs, wash your hands before applying the gloss with your fingers. Alternatively, use a lip brush.
