Steps
Step 1. Purchase a micro HDMI to HDMI video connection cable
Search online for a video connection cable with the required specifications, then proceed to purchase.
- Buy a cable that is long enough. An acceptable length should be around 4.5 meters.
- This type of cable should be fairly inexpensive.
- If you do not want to make your purchases online, you can rely on your trusted electronics store.
Step 2. Insert the micro HDMI connector into the appropriate port on your Kindle
The smallest connector is the micro HDMI jack. Look at the underside of the Kindle for the connection port to plug into.
Step 3. Now locate your TV's HDMI input port
It is usually placed in the back. Once you find it, plug the HDMI jack of the video cable into its connection port. Most modern televisions are equipped with multiple HDMI input ports, you can use the first one free. They are normally numbered, so you can use the 'HDMI 1' port.
Step 4. Select the video 'Source'
Using your TV's remote control, select the HDMI channel for the input port being used. Make sure your Kindle is turned on. Your tablet's interface should appear on the television screen.
