Steps
Step 1. Understand how rhythm works
Move your head in time to the beat according to the song.
Step 2. Learn to move by following the 'beat'
Do this by bending your knees slightly, returning to the starting position in time.
Step 3. Learn 'step-touch'
Step 4. Practice these 3 basic movements until they come naturally to you
It takes practice but you can do it in less than 1 week.
Step 5. Go to YouTube and look for basic steps for men
Start with 'butterfly', 'basic hip hop bounce', 'heel tap' or 'lean and sway'.
Step 6. Record yourself as you perform these movements to make sure they are done correctly
Adjust your movements. For example: Lack of movement, stiffness, strange movements with the head.
Step 7. Go to a BUSY club and mix with the crowd
By mixing with the crowd you will not feel insecure as everyone will be busy dancing. Practice the movements when there is music until you feel comfortable around other people.
