To make your bathroom towels tidy and fit into the cabinet after you've washed and dried them, you need to fold them properly. In this tutorial, learn how to fold towels the way shops and hotels do it for display cases or warehouses.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Towels and Bath Towels
Step 1. Grab each towel by the corners on the same side as the shorter edge
Step 2. Fold it two thirds before the end
The uncovered area will be approximately the same size as the folded area.
Step 3. Take the edge towards you (the round or curved one) and make it match the new one by the two-thirds mark
Step 4. Fold it again so that the first layer is on top of the others
Step 5. Take the rectangular shape and fold it into thirds
Step 6. This is one way to fold it to store level
Method 2 of 3: Hand Towels
Step 1. Grab the towel by the corners on the same side as the longest edge
Step 2. Match the corners, folding it in half
Make sure all edges are strictly parallel.
Step 3. Holding it by the folded edge, fold the towel into thirds
Step 4. Place it on the shelf or in a cupboard with the sides folded out
Method 3 of 3: Washcloths, Face Towels, and Washcloths
Step 1. Lay the towel down on a smooth, clean surface
Step 2. Fold it in half
Step 3. Fold it in half again and you're done
Advice
- This method folds the towels into thirds, which allows you to show the embroidery when you put them on display (especially effective when they are on the guest bed, etc.). It also means that you can hang the towels with the vertical folds in place.
- You can also fold the towels into a triangle shape using the same basic method.
- Better to fold the thinnest towels several times.
- You can also make an elephant, a monkey, a rabbit, a swan, and so on, if you want to show off the towels on the guest bed or in the bathroom.
- This method can also be applied to kitchen cloths and tea towels.
