You return home from work and find your home always in the same conditions. The shoes scattered on the floor, the toys piled up on the stairs, the dishes scattered in the kitchen, the unmade bed. Here are some tips to get the house back on track.
Steps
Step 1. Wash the dishes
Start with the kitchen. Put the dishes away and clean the sink. Label the spices. Fix the pantry and check the expiration dates of all foods.
Step 2. Order the entrance
Hang up your coats and put your shoes away. Get rid of the broken games and vacuum. Beat the doormat and the carpet.
Step 3. Collect the dirty clothes scattered around the house
Go from the attic to the rumpus room. You may find the sock you lost two years ago.
Step 4. Clean the bedrooms
Start with the guest bedroom. Shake the sheets, vacuum and dust the bedside tables. Then go to your room. Make the bed, fix your makeup, dust off the blinds. If you have children, clean their rooms! They would appreciate it very much. Change the sheets, fold their clothes, replace the bulb that doesn't work.
Step 5. Do the laundry
Separate dark garments from whites and colors.
Step 6. Clean the bathrooms
Wash the bathroom fixtures, polish the mirror, throw out the rubbish and change the soap.
Step 7. Give yourself a break
You have done a lot of cleaning up to now, but you still have a lot to do. Good job. Give yourself a pat on the back!
Step 8. Dining room
Change the tablecloth, set the table, fix the crack in the chair, and so on.
Step 9. Stay
Clean the windows, vacuum the floor and on the sofa, beat the carpet, dust the coffee table.
Step 10. The BIG challenge
Tavern! Dust off the TV screen, vacuum, tidy up the games and rearrange the furniture.
Step 11. Take out the trash
This is one of the last steps.
Step 12. Take a shower and relax
You did! Congratulations!
Advice
- Divide the room, for example, into four sections.
- Listen to music while you clean to relax and avoid getting bored or tired.
- When cleaning an area, you might put away the first thing out of place you notice, after the second, and so on.
- If you get confused with the electrical cables, put a label on each of them, with what it is used for. For example: Giovanni's charger, television, Anna's lamp, etc.
