This article explains how to use the UC Browser internet browser to download YouTube videos to a Windows computer. Although it is no longer possible to use the integrated functionality of the UC Browser program to download videos from YouTube, the problem can be solved by using the Online Video Converter website. Remember that normally trying to download copyright protected videos related to music or movies will cause an error.
Steps
Step 1. Download and install the Windows 10 UC Browser app
If you haven't already, you can install the UC Browser program on your Windows 10 computer directly from the Store. Access the menu Start by clicking on the icon
then follow these instructions:
- Type in the keyword store;

Click on the app icon Microsoft Store

- Click on the magnifying glass icon "Search";
- Type the keywords uc browser, then press the Enter key;
- Click on the icon UC Browser;
- Click on the button Get.
Step 2. Launch the UC Browser app
Click on the button Start from the Microsoft Store or click (or double-click) the UC Browser app icon visible in the Start menu or on the desktop.
Step 3. Visit the Online Video Converter website
Use the URL https://www.onlinevideoconverter.com/video-converter and the UC Browser.
Step 4. Copy the full address of the YouTube video you want to download
Access the page of the video in question, then select the URL displayed in the browser address bar located at the bottom of the UC Browser window and press the key combination Ctrl + C.
Remember that it is not possible to download videos related to copyrighted content (for example paid movies) from YouTube
Step 5. Paste the video URL into the Online Video Converter website
Click on the "Paste link here" text field located at the top of the page, then press the key combination Ctrl + V.
Step 6. Click on the "Format" drop-down menu
It is placed below the text field where you pasted the video URL. A drop-down menu will appear.
Step 7. Click on MP4 option
It is displayed on the right side of the appeared menu.
Step 8. Click the Download button
It is blue in color and located on the right side of the page. The video file in question will be downloaded to your computer.
