Loving your body (especially small breasts) can be difficult for someone who is insecure. Insecurities often come from societal standards, so it's important to learn to love yourself for who you are. Once you are able to overcome them, you will be able to accept your breasts and you will learn to appreciate the positive characteristics of your body.
Steps
Part 1 of 3: Developing a Good Self-Esteem
Step 1. Love yourself
Every woman is different, so it's important to love yourself for who you are. It's normal to want things you don't have, but learning to love what you have will help you live much better. Having small breasts doesn't mean you're less beautiful, it's just a personal trait like any other.
- For every small breasted girl who would like to have it bigger, there is a busty girl who would like exactly the opposite. Make an effort to love yourself as you are.
- Learn to love your physical appearance by mirroring yourself every day. Stand in front of a mirror and identify your favorite features of your body. The more comfortable you feel in your own skin, the more you will begin to love it in its entirety.
Step 2. Focus on your strengths rather than what you don't like
Cultivating your talents, such as dancing, singing, playing sports, writing, and so on will help you focus on the positive things you have to offer. Negativity will not allow you to see how awesome you are.
- Compile a list of your strengths and your best features (physical and otherwise). Write down everything you love about yourself. Sometimes it is useful to put all your strengths on paper, in order to remember them better.
- Avoid having negative internal dialogue, for example by remembering all your flaws and ignoring the good points. You have to be your first fan, so don't despise yourself. This would only exacerbate your insecurities. Talk about yourself in a positive way.
- Improve your body language. Being confident will boost your self-esteem - basically, it's about pretending to be confident until it comes naturally to you. If you act like you have good self-esteem, you will eventually be convinced. Conveying confidence involves, among other things, standing up straight, holding your head up and smiling a lot.
Step 3. Don't judge yourself based on the standards set by society
It's easy to fall into the trap of judging yourself using the canons of the media, celebrities and society at large, but don't. It is important that you develop an individual perception of yourself, without living by the opinions of others. In most cases, these standards are unrealistic, they are quite detrimental to one's self-esteem and individuality.
- When you look at the most beautiful celebrities, notice the fact that they all have different body types. Some have larger breasts, others are skinny as a nail and have no curves. Always remember that there are different types of beauty.
- Examine the different historical eras to see how trends have changed. Expanding your concept of beauty can help you accept yours. You will also see that in the 1920s the main beauty standard was that of Flapper women, who had small breasts.
- Avoid negative influences, such as the media and your peers who are obsessed with physical appearance. The media often portray unrealistic canons regarding body and image, such as large breasts and a narrow waist. If you try to meet these standards, your self-esteem will never grow. Your physique-obsessed peers are probably the first to struggle with self-esteem issues, so don't let their insecurities undermine yours.
Step 4. Don't worry about what men think of you (or your breasts)
Many women believe that men are only attracted to those with large breasts, but that's not true. Attraction to a woman can have many physical, mental and emotional reasons. A guy can fall in love with your eyes or your sense of humor.
If a guy doesn't like you because you have small breasts, remember that such a person doesn't even deserve your attention. According to some studies, men who consider breast size extremely important are usually misogynistic and superficial
Part 2 of 3: Dressing the Right Way
Step 1. Enhance your body
If you don't have large breasts, maybe you have a nice butt, a wasp waist, or long legs. Whatever part of your body you prefer, show it off. Stop focusing on what you don't have and show that you love what you have. This will help you improve your self-esteem.
- If you have nice legs, draw attention to this area by wearing a short dress, high heels, a skirt or a pair of shorts.
- Draw attention to the waist with a belt, a fitted dress or a cropped top.
- If B-side is your favorite part of your body, wear tight dresses, pants and skirts to show it off.
- Once you accept the size of your breasts, take pride in your body and show your self-esteem.
Step 2. Put on the bra of your choice
Having large breasts involves several difficulties. One of them is the pursuit of the bra: it has to offer enough support, be nice and you have to be able to afford it. Women with small breasts, on the other hand, have no problem finding nice and cheap underwear. They can sport unsupported lace bras, comfortable non-wired or strapless bras. If you don't want to wear it at all, you can very well avoid it.
- Wear a push-up to optically enlarge your breasts. There are several models that make it look bigger, so if you want this effect, invest in a good push-up.
- Silicone inserts can make it look bigger. If having small breasts makes you deeply uncomfortable, you can use these pads to give them some extra volume.
Step 3. Don't be afraid to walk around without a bra
Women who have large breasts can't afford it, but you can! Since your chest will not get in your way, you can enhance your bust with sexy and cute clothes.
- There are many dresses that actually look better without a bra. Examples are sweaters and backless dresses, sleeveless garments and plunging necklines. You have the right body to wear them.
- Going around without a bra has more benefits than you think. For example, when you wear an open back top or strapless dress, you don't have to deal with invisible straps or stickers to lift the breasts.
Part 3 of 3: The Benefits of Having Small Breasts
Step 1. You don't have to worry about various pains
Unfortunately, many women with large breasts experience back pain, shoulder pain and neck pain. This is due to weight, but also to the stress caused by bras, straps and so on. Having small breasts offers health benefits, as you will be less likely to have these problems.
- Whenever you can, avoid wearing a bra. Braces and underwire can cause more of a nuisance. Also, with small breasts, it is not always necessary.
- Large-breasted women sometimes consider breast reduction surgeries to relieve back pain, while it's nowhere near a concern for you. Be proud of your breasts.
Step 2. Having small breasts allows you to better control your health, so it can help you be healthier
The reasons are varied. Since there is less tissue to examine, diagnostic tests for diseases such as cancer are much simpler. Also, it is easier to see bumps or abnormalities, so you can better control your health.
- Having smaller breasts can help detect diseases such as cancer earlier. Because it has less fatty tissue, doctors find it easier to notice bumps as they appear, before they develop further.
- Smaller breasts also help maintain better posture, as they don't weigh down the front of the body.
Step 3. Failures won't be your problem
This is one of the main benefits: the breasts will not sag over the years. Due to the pull of gravity, larger breasts usually become saggy over the years, so rejoice that yours will always be firm.
- Your friends with big breasts will have this problem in their 30s and older, but you won't notice it until you're 50 or 60, or it won't happen to you at all.
- This benefit also allows you to look younger as the years go by.
Step 4. Exercising is easier
During workouts, large breasts are often a hindrance, especially when it comes to aerobics. Exercises like jumping jacks, skipping rope, and running are much easier with small breasts.
- Women with large breasts have a hard time finding particularly supportive sports bras that can help them train more comfortably, while you don't have to worry about it. You will be able to play sports without problems.
- Some women with large breasts avoid exercising because it causes chest pains. Learn to be thankful that you can play sports without your chest getting in your way.
Step 5. You can sleep better
This happens for several reasons. First, you can sleep on your back or comfortably hug your other half without discomfort. Many women with large breasts wake up in pain during the night from inadvertently squeezing them.
