This article shows you how to save audio messages received from your contacts on WeChat when using an Android device.
Steps
Step 1. Open the device file manager
It is usually found in the app drawer. The name of the program varies by mobile phone, but is usually called "File Manager", "File Manager" or "File Manager".
If you don't have a file manager on your device, you need to download one first
Step 2. Tap the Tencent folder to open it
- If you don't see it as you scroll down the page, use the search tool provided by the file manager.
- To find Tencent, you may need to access the device's internal memory folder (sometimes called an SD Card).
Step 3. Tap the MicroMsg folder to see its contents
Step 4. Tap the c78d2d5d89a1685fb0f78b21823 folder to see its contents
It is the folder that has the longest name in the list (the combination of numbers and letters may vary).
Step 5. Touch and hold voice2
This is how you select a folder in most file managers. Voice messages are stored in "voice2".
Step 6. Tap
or Share.
A pop-up menu will appear showing you a list of applications or locations where you can share the file.
If you don't see the sharing icon or link, then the files must be shared individually. Tap the "voice2" folder to open it, then tap "b4", where you should find the messages you have received. Touch and hold a message to open the sharing menu
Step 7. Select a sharing option
Choose the app you want to save to or send voicemails to, then follow the instructions to share them.
- For example, if you want to share messages on Google Drive, tap "Google Drive".
- To auto-email messages to you, choose the email application.
