Avocado is an oval-shaped fruit with a dark green skin, light green interior and a large stone. The oil extracted from avocado through cold juices is extremely rich and beneficial for the skin and hair. The oil contains vitamins A, D and E, as well as lecithin and potassium. Avocado oil also contains a number of proteins and unsaturated fatty acids, which are also powerful agents for the skin. Avocado oil has many applications, but knowing how to use it is crucial in order to reap the benefits. Use these steps to apply avocado oil.
Steps
Step 1. Make a bath oil
- Heat 1 cup (236.6 ml) of almond oil and 2 cups (473.2 ml) of avocado oil in a saucepan. Remove the pan from the heat and put 2 tea bags in the mixture.
- Pour several essential oils, such as lavender, chamomile, and jasmine into a glass bottle. Add the avocado and almond oil mixture (without the tea bags) to the bottle. Place a cap or lid on the bottle.
- Shake the bottle well and place it in a cool, dark place for at least 1 day.
- Take a warm bath and pour 59.1ml of the oil mixture into the water. Avocado in an oil bath moisturizes and regenerates the skin, leaving it soft and supple.
Step 2. Make a shampoo
- Combine 59.1ml castile soap, 59.1ml aloe vera, 4.9ml vegetable glycerin, and 1.2ml avocado oil in a medium-sized glass bottle.
- Close the bottle and shake it to mix all the ingredients well.
- Pour the entire contents of the bottle over your hair in a sink or bathtub. Massage the shampoo into your hair and let it sit for 3-5 minutes.
- Rinse the shampoo off with cold water. The avocado oil in the shampoo is a nourishing compound that keeps hair beautiful and healthy.
Step 3. Make a face mask
- Mash 1 avocado to make a paste. Put the pasta in a bowl and add 14.8ml of avocado oil to soften it.
- Wash your face to remove oil and dirt from the skin. Apply the avocado mask by spreading it on the skin of the face with a spatula. Avoid contact with eyes, nose and mouth.
- Sit and relax for 10 to 15 minutes to let the oil penetrate the deep layers of the skin.
- Wet a clean tablecloth with hot water and wring it out. Put the tablecloth on your face and press firmly. Remove the avocado from your face by pulling the towel down while applying pressure. Rinse your face if necessary.
Step 4. Make a recipe for an anti-aging remedy
- Mix 2 tablespoons (29.6 ml) of avocado oil and 2 tablespoons (29.6 ml) of castor oil in a small bowl. Mix it well and apply it on the aged spots with your fingers.
- Massage the oil into the aged spots and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Rinse the oil off with warm water. Avocado oil is rich in sterols, which are used to moisturize and treat aged spots.
