This is how those beautiful Peruvian "String Art" style earrings are made. They are gorgeous, and the effort required to create them is minimal!
Steps
Step 1. Look in the "Things You Will Need" section at the bottom of the page and get the necessary items
Step 2. Cut two lengths of thicker diameter wire to form the circumference of the earrings to the desired size plus the addition of 2.5 cm to secure the ends of the earring
Step 3. Roll the thinner wire evenly around the thicker wire, leaving the same space between the rings
Step 4. Curve the thick yarn that has just been wrapped into a loop
Step 5. Secure the ends
Step 6. Attach the earring hook or needle
Step 7. Proceed with your motif in the String Art style
To obtain a motif, a technique very similar to the one used once, when creating images with the spirograph or magic circle, is used. The trick is to move the textile fiber yarn one space at a time to create a solid web of yarn.
