Some people would like to make their device less visible.
Steps
Step 1. Start by taking care of your appliance
Nothing is more visible than a dirty appliance. Make sure you follow all of your dentist's instructions on how to clean it and check it after every meal. If you can remove it, try to do it every time you eat.
Step 2. If you can choose the colors of the hooks on the appliance, make sure you don't choose a color that attracts too much attention
The white makes the teeth look faded, the black is too strong, the green gives the idea that the teeth are dirty, the orange is strange. Blue is the best color (for both boys and girls) because it is in fashion. Plus, blue isn't a natural color, so it won't look like you have something weird in your mouth!
Step 3. If your dentist recommends it, try clear brackets, or a clear appliance
Step 4. Practice smiling with the device
Many people make the mistake of smiling with their mouth closed, using the muscles of their cheeks. However, you can also smile more naturally by laughing normally and then closing your lips. In this way the smile will be genuine. Also, keep in mind that showing the final part of the upper teeth, where the braces are not seen, will give you a more natural smile.
Step 5. Try not to think about it
This is perhaps the most difficult advice to follow, but nothing makes the device more visible than a person who cares about it all the time. If you don't give it too much weight, people can often compliment you on your appliance and you can simply see it as an extra accessory!
Step 6. Girls need to focus the makeup on the eyes
In this way the attention will be diverted from the mouth.
Step 7. Take care of your lips
Chapped lips are not beautiful to look at, especially with the appliance. Use lip balm, then rub a little sugar on your lips every day to remove dead skin and fight dryness. Plus your lips will be soft and scented!
Step 8. Gathering your hair back in a ponytail or having very short hair can draw attention to the appliance
It is recommended to have a haircut that frames your face and distracts from the appliance, such as a fringe.
Step 9. The appliance is a rigid accessory, so a soft and sweet haircut will help you have a more delicate look
Step 10. Try to keep your overall appearance tidy and well-groomed
Step 11. High-necked sweaters and round-necked t-shirts draw attention to the lower part of the face and therefore also to the device
Avoid these types of meshes if you want to hide your device.
