Have you ever wondered how to create a personal email account? Thousands of emails are sent every day around the world, and many services on the web cannot be used without an email address. Using this guide, you will be able to complete the simple process of creating your account in the blink of an eye.
Steps
Method 1 of 3: Create an Email Account
Step 1. Visit a website that offers a free and time-limited email service
The most famous are yahoo.com, google.com and hotmail.com.
Step 2. Type "free email account" and the website of your choice in a search engine bar
Click on the link, hoping to get to the setup page for the desired account.
Find a place to sign up from. Usually, you have to go to the login page, where there is a small image with a link or text that says "Register" or "Sign up"
Step 3. Follow all the instructions specified on the page, filling in every necessary detail
In some cases, you may feel uncomfortable about some information. Don't worry: in most email accounts there is no need to enter the phone and home address, which are optional.
Step 4. Read the service agreement, because you will have to declare to respect the rules of the e-mail account
Once reading is complete, click on the Enter button at the bottom of the screen.
Step 5. Congratulations
You have created an email address. Continue by importing your contacts, texting or emailing friends, and more
Method 2 of 3: Collecting Contacts
Step 1. Tell your friends and family about your new email, collect their addresses and add them to your contact list
Note that many e-mail accounts, in recent versions, automatically save contacts when you send or receive an email from a person or institution.
- To extract the contacts, find the Contacts tab or simply type the name or surname of the person whose email you want to know or the beginning of the mailing address. Their information should appear and populate automatically.
This often means you don't have to "save" someone as a contact to send them an email
Step 2. Import your contact list if you are switching accounts
Switch to the Contacts tab and find the import button; then follow all the instructions below. It is usually easy: it involves importing a *. CSV file with the buttons present in the browser window.
Method 3 of 3: Send an Email
Step 1. Find the "Compose" button once you are logged into your email account
It shouldn't be too hard to find; often it is a different colored button.
Step 2. Enter the address of the person you want to send an email to
If you don't remember, but previously sent a message to that same person, the account may recognize the saved email address as soon as you start typing the name.
- If you want to send a carbon copy, write "CC", which stands for "Carbon Copy" or "Carbon Copy".
- If you want to send the email to a person without the original recipient knowing, write "BCC" or "CCN", which stands for "Blind Carbon Copy", that is "Hidden Carbon Copy".
Step 3. Enter a subject:
is what the email is about.
Step 4. Write the message text, or body, of your email:
it is what you want to explain or communicate to the other person.
Step 5. Double check for errors, then click 'Submit'
Make sure that your contact's email address is correct, and that the message does not contain spelling or formatting errors. Send the email.

- Create email addresses that are easy to remember.
- Don't despair - people have lives and can't always answer every little email.
- Do not waste your mailbox by checking it only every 2 - 4 months, because many email providers close their accounts after a certain period of inactivity: check it at least every month.
- Do not constantly check your inbox to see if there is a new message: it will only make you more anxious.
- Do not delay in checking your inbox, as you may find it too full.
- Don't be too desperate if your inbox is empty - it takes some time to start receiving emails.
