If you're bored in class, don't despair! There are many ways you can have fun and waste time so that the clock hands move faster. All you need are a few simple items that you can find in your backpack.

Method 1 of 3: Draw and Create Things
Step 1. Draw in your notebook
Scribbling is a great way to waste time in class because it looks like you're taking notes. You can draw geometric shapes, crazy drawings or what you see outside the classroom window. You can also color your drawings with colored pencils or markers.
- Keep the mark on a page of notes and open it in case your teacher passes by your desk.
- Make the drawing interact with the sheets of the ring binder. Take a worm out of the hole in the ring or draw a stick figure that climbs the lines as if they were the rungs of a ladder.
- If you still want to take notes as you scribble, draw in the edges of the paper, so there will be enough space to write on the rest of the page.
Step 2. Create origami with notebook sheets
If you want to make origami, the possibilities are endless. Tear off a sheet of paper and try to make a crane, heart or rabbit. You can even make a balloon!
- Make origami on the legs under the desk, so that the teacher does not see you.
- You can also tilt the notebook and use it as a barrier and make your own origami back there.
- A lot of origami is made with square sheets, so first you should turn the notebook sheet into a square.
Step 3. Draw a fake tattoo on yourself with a pen
Write your name on the wrist or draw a symbol, such as an arrow or heart. If you like henna, draw a fake henna tattoo on the top of the hand using a pen instead of real henna ink.
- If you need tattoo design ideas, look up some on your phone or print them out before class to be more discreet.
- If you are looking for something less flashy, draw a fake ring on your finger (you can do this on any finger, of course).
Step 4. Create a collage with sticky notes
As a basis you can use a sheet of paper, the cover of a notebook or the surface of your desk. With sticky notes you can create shapes of a thousand types or even just files of different colors. When you're done, you can draw on the sticky notes and rearrange them so they turn into puzzle pieces!
For example, you could arrange the sticky notes in a square, draw an image and then take it apart. Then you can try to reassemble the image
Step 5. Draw on the nails with a marker
Completely cover your nails using the same color or mix and match colors for a wilder look. You can also take a black marker and create intricate designs.

Method 2 of 3: Messing with Classmates
Step 1. Communicate with your desk mate by passing them a note
You can make after school plans, write about how bored you are, or draw funny pictures for each other. Fold the card into a small square so that it is easier to switch back and forth.
- Wait until the teacher is not looking in your direction or you may be caught!
- The note does not have to be a square. It can be a heart-shaped origami or even a frog.
Step 2. Make a paper airplane and throw it at someone
Use a sheet of the notebook to make the plane. Before you do, write us a message or draw a doodle for your friend, then throw it at them when the teacher isn't looking.
You should only do this if you are certain that your classmates are not going to draw attention to this or blurt it out to the teacher
Step 3. Play with your bank mate
You can play tic-tac-toe or naval battle using the sheets of a notebook. You can also play "20 Questions" by passing the questions and answers back and forth on a slip of paper.
- Try playing "I spy". Pick a random item in the classroom, write a clue on a note about what it is, and pass it to your classmate. They have to keep writing their guesses and then get the note back. Whoever guesses the object before the end of the lesson wins!
- Here's an idea for another fun game: everyone writes a sentence from a story and see how long you can keep going!
- If you are feeling more creative, you can pass yourself a sheet of paper with a design to which everyone can add a detail.
Step 4. Send your friends funny jokes and pictures
If your friends are in the same class as you, even better. You can see who makes the other person laugh the most. Make sure your phone is in silent mode and wait for the teacher to walk away so that he doesn't catch you.

Method 3 of 3: Keeping Busy
Step 1. Make a to-do list
Write down all the things you need to do after school or make a list of your plans for the weekend. The teacher won't even notice - they'll think you're taking notes!
A shopping list is another great idea. But if you want something more fun, try listing all your favorite bands, songs, TV shows or books
Step 2. Read a book
Open the book on your lap or hide it under a sheet of paper on the desk so that the teacher can't see it. You may even finish an entire chapter before the lesson ends.
If you are worried that the teacher will notice, make a cover for the book so that they cannot understand what you are reading
Step 3. Do your homework for another subject
While you may not feel like doing your homework, doing it now means you won't have to think about it later. Also, if you forgot to do your homework for a lesson you'll have later in the day, you can do it now.
- If you have trouble concentrating due to background noise in the classroom, try wearing headphones or earplugs. Just make sure they are not visible and you can still hear what the teacher is saying, in case you call your name.
- If wearing headphones or earplugs isn't possible, focus on the easier parts of the tasks that don't require excessive concentration.
Step 4. Play with the phone
Turn the volume down completely and hide the phone on your lap or behind a notebook. Choose games that don't require a lot of attention so you don't have to stare at the screen all the time.
- To play, you can use a stylus that looks like a pen, so it will look like you are taking notes.
- If you are allowed to use a laptop in your class, you can play on that. A simple card game will be more discreet than a fantasy RPG.
Step 5. Look out the window to see if anything interesting is happening
You never know what might be happening outside: maybe there is a bird building a nest or a storm is coming. Try to find something interesting to focus on, and before you know it, the lesson will be over!
- If you're not sitting near a window, you might want to try looking out the classroom door. See if you can find anything of interest in the classroom across the hall.
- Alternatively, you can always observe your classmates. Just look at the people sitting in front of you; the teacher will notice if you turn to look at those behind you.
