Every person of every religion has a guardian angel. Their purpose here on Earth is to help us, guide us, and connect us to the energy of Heaven and inspiration. In moments of joy, our guardian angel rejoices with us, and in moments of sadness, he cries with us. Read on for a prayer you can say when you need your guardian angel.
Steps
Step 1. Focus
Sit comfortably, relax, and say your prayer at a time when you know you can't be bothered. Focus on communicating with your Guardian Angel.
Step 2. Breathe
If you are able to, breathe with your belly, so you can focus on your breathing and be able to relax more easily. Focus on the prayer you want to say. If some thoughts make their way into your mind, let them go and bring your attention back to prayer.
Step 3. View
Visualize a white light that surrounds you, that is there with you. White light drives away all negative thoughts and behaviors. Breathe into that light until you feel completely at peace with yourself.
Step 4. Relax and meditate
Relax and meditate for a couple of minutes. If any thoughts arise, let them go and continue with the meditation. When you feel ready, say these words: Guardian Angel, come to me. Exhale slowly and say in your mind: With love and joy, so let it be.
Step 5. Take a break
Pause and repeat this breathing exercise for as long as desired, then let it subside. Keep breathing and open up to your Guardian Angel. No matter what you see or hear, stay relaxed and centered.
Step 6. Give thanks
Thank the divine for this gift and this experience.
Step 7. Watch the light as it fades
When you have finished your prayer, see yourself again surrounded by the white light and watch it dissipate or fade back to Mother Earth. Slowly it returns to the physical world.
