Steps
Step 1. Buy a medium to large aquarium of at least 80 liters
Step 2. Run the aquarium cycle for a day or two
Step 3. Get two specimens, a male and a female
You can distinguish females because they have a bright orange coloring on the flanks. Males do not have bright colors, but they do have longer and larger fins. Some male specimens develop a frontal bulge.
Step 4. This step is very important
These fish must have clean water. Change 20-25% of the water every 3 days.
Step 5. Don't be afraid that the parents will eat the fry
They do this only after they have reached a certain stage of growth.
Step 6. Feed the fry with minced flake food or a specific fry food
