This is a very simple but brilliant trick to make your friends or family believe that you have made a coin disappear!
Steps
Step 1. Gather the necessary materials:
a piece of paper, a clear glass cup, a pen, some scissors, clear scotch tape, a coin, a rag large enough to cover the glass.
Step 2. Trace the outline of the glass on the paper
Step 3. Cut out the shape
Step 4. Stick small pieces of scotch tape to the paper
You will only need 4 to attach to the bottom, top, right and left of the circle.
Step 5. Attach the shape to the cup so that it is covered with the piece of paper
Cut along the edges so that when the glass is upside down on a larger piece of paper, it won't be noticeable.
Step 6. The glass upside down on the piece of paper should look like an ordinary glass
Step 7. Put a coin on the paper
Tell your audience that you can make the coin disappear.
Step 8. Cover the glass with the rag, and move it over the coin
Step 9. Remove the rag
The paper on the bottom of the glass should have covered the coin. The public will not know, because they will not see any changes in the sheet. You will have made the coin disappear!
Step 10. You can do the same thing to make it reappear - cover the glass, move it away from the coin and remove the rag:

Advice
- Be sure to completely cover the glass with the rag. If the audience sees the paper under the glass when you move it, they will discover the trick.
- Flatten the paper under the glass as much as possible so it doesn't show.
- Add your own magic formulas to make it even more spectacular.
Warnings
- Don't put tape in your hair - it hurts.
- Watch out for the rag: you risk strangling someone.
- Don't break the glass - you could cut yourself.
- Watch out for scissors, they cut too.
- Watch out for the coin and the paper, even they can be dangerous.
