However, if you have enough time to plan something original or if you remembered it the night before, you can celebrate this happy event by focusing on your partner and what makes your bond special. Think of a traditional gift, consider the presence of your children during the celebrations or improvise a holiday to pay tribute to your marriage and the love that binds you.

Part 1 of 4: Giving a Gift
Step 1. Choose it based on the tradition of wedding anniversaries

Step 6. Celebrate at home if you don't want to leave
Choose a weekend to stay indoors alone. If you have children, ask a friend or family member to look after them. Do the same with any pet or other important responsibilities. Take your time to prepare a romantic dinner and watch your favorite movies together, or order something to go and relax in the bathtub. Celebrate another relaxing wedding year.
Part 3 of 4: Celebrating with the Whole Family
Step 1. Organize a party
If it's an important anniversary or if you just want to celebrate your love with your loved ones, throw a party and invite everyone! Send out the invitations and set up your home for the celebrations or rent a venue. It will be even better if you put on the hottest songs in the year you got married or if you ask the guests to dress in the fashion of that period.
Step 2. Watch your wedding video together
It is especially interesting if you have young children who can see their mom dressed up as a princess or hide in front of scenes where you kiss like two lovebirds. Accompany the video with a toast and turn the evening into a dance party in the living room!
Step 3. Go and collect fruit for a relaxing day of celebration
Collect berries and red fruits by talking about your memories or organize a competition to entertain your children. Then go home and prepare a dessert or a tart. Enjoy it while watching a movie or sitting together in front of the fireplace.
Step 4. Set up a movie theater in the garden

Step 1. Make some changes in the house
One way to celebrate the love that unites you is to work together to create something new and exciting. If you've always hated whitewashing living room walls but want to freshen up, or if you think adding some light on the porch will make it more inviting for the summer months, design something together to give your home a different touch.
Step 2. Learn something new together
At times, married life can fall into the habit, and even if you love your daily routine, you may find that you miss the opportunity to learn something different or have new experiences. So, to get out of the usual routine and get some fresh air into your life as a couple, propose to your partner to take a course! For example, consider:

Step 3. Use the dinner service given at the wedding
If you have a very elegant set of dishes, you will probably keep it on display in a cabinet or relegated to the back of the pantry "so it does not spoil". Whatever the reason you don't want to use it every day, make this moment special by taking it and using it to serve dinner on your anniversary!
Step 4. Go to the place where you got engaged
Find time to renew your vows or, if you don't want to be too formal, try to tell yourself why you wouldn't hesitate to get married again.

From the first year of marriage, set aside some coins so that when you decide, you can throw them into a fountain or well while making a wish. Instead of saying them in your mind, say them out loud, confront and exchange your mutual support over the next year.
