This wikiHow teaches you how to block one of your Facebook Messenger contacts using an iPhone or iPad.
Steps
Step 1. Open Messenger on your iPhone or iPad
The icon looks like a blue speech bubble with a white lightning bolt inside. It is usually found on the Home screen.
Step 2. Select the person you want to block
If you don't see her in the list, start typing her name in the search bar at the top of the screen, then click on her username in the results.
Step 3. Tap on the user's name in the conversation
It is located at the top of the screen.
Step 4. Scroll down and hit Lock
This option is almost at the bottom of the list.
Step 5. Swipe the "Block on Messenger" button to activate it
In this way the user will not be able to send you messages on Facebook Messenger.
