Every now and then, we all need a day off. Commitments take priority, but sometimes you need to take some time for yourself.
Steps
Step 1. Prepare a hot bath with soap bubbles and the radio on
Prepare the bath, choose a soap that makes a lot of foam, choose a radio station that offers relaxing music, light candles or incense, and relax! You will not be just washing, but taking all the tension off you. When finished, rinse off with a refreshing scented soap.
Step 2. After your bath, dry off and put on some comfortable clothes, a jumpsuit and a t-shirt, or whatever outfit is particularly comfortable for you
For example, baggy pants, or shorts.
Step 3. Tie your hair back and pull it away from your forehead with a headband
It is important that your hair does not fall over your face for the next step.
Step 4. Rinse your face and pat it dry with a towel
Step 5. Apply a face mask
If you don't have a product of this type, you can try a natural alternative: blend half a banana with 2 tablespoons of honey and leave the mixture on your face for 10-20 minutes, then rinse. While you wait for time to pass, read a magazine or watch TV.
Step 6. Rinse the visa well and pat dry
If you have acne problems, rinse off with a brand name product, for example Neutrogena. Dry your face without rubbing.
Step 7. Now it's time to think about nails
Remove the old nail polish from your fingers and toes. Trim your nails and clean them paying attention to the impurities that accumulate in the corners, then put on a nail polish, possibly a light color, and let it dry.
Step 8. Rent, or watch on TV, a good girl's movie
Put your nail polish on and eat some popcorn while watching.
Step 9. Enjoy your favorite ice cream or cookies
If you are a health-conscious and don't like sweets and fats, try vegan cuisine or dishes recommended by spas for a day; search for recipes on Google.
Step 10. After watching the movie, dedicate yourself to reading a good book
Step 11. After reading, go to sleep and give yourself a restorative rest
Alternatives
- Meditation. Try meditating, or relaxing in silence, trying to focus and get rid of all the problems. If thoughts come to your mind, pause for a few moments on each of them and then move them away, try not to think about anything: concentrate on silence. If possible, spend an hour like this, but even 5 minutes alone will help you face anything with calmness and the right spirit.
- Yoga. Even simple stretching exercises can help you relax your body and remove tension.
- After each activity, drink two glasses of water. It will help you stay hydrated and fresh.
Advice
- If you don't like popcorn and ice cream, make a hot chocolate with cream.
- Choose the snack you prefer, try a vegetarian recipe or treat yourself to a little sauce over the chips, don't hesitate … after all, it's your day!
- Don't sleep too much during the day or you'll have a hard time falling asleep in the evening!
- Even if you are a boy you can give yourself a day of relaxation and body care. Rather than a sentimental comedy, you can watch a fun, light-hearted movie.
- If you have a CD player near the bathroom, put your favorite CD and turn up the volume a little, so that you can hear it well while you soak in the tub. For safety reasons it is always advisable not to plug the player or radio into the bathroom socket.
- If you can't set aside time during the week, choose Saturday or Sunday, or in the evening.
- Warn everyone in your family that you don't want to be disturbed.
- If you don't want to rent a movie you can check if there are any interesting programs on the TV. Or watch a movie you already own and like.
- You can also put on your pajamas directly after taking a shower.
- If you don't have bubble soap, don't worry, even a simple bubble bath is fine.
- If you don't like reading, you can make a phone call to a friend, or take a relaxing walk.
- Apply nail polish.
- Spray your favorite perfume and use a body lotion.
- If you want, invite your friends to see a movie with you. You will have more fun, together.
- If you don't have any relaxing CDs, try listening to the sounds of nature. If you are allergic to soap or bath salts, try substituting natural products.
