This wikiHow teaches you how to upload a file to a Discord chat using an Android device.
Steps
Step 1. Open Discord
The icon is represented by a white joystick on a blue background. It is usually found on the Home screen or in the application list.
Step 2. Press ☰
It is located in the upper left corner of the screen.
Step 3. Tap the server hosting the channel
The server icons are all listed along the left side of the screen. A list of channels will appear.
Step 4. Select a channel
Tap the channel you want to upload a file to.
Step 5. Tap +
This button is located in the lower left corner of the screen. The Android gallery will open and you will also see icons associated with other file types.
Step 6. Tap the files icon
It is depicted by a sheet of paper folded at an angle.
Step 7. Tap the arrow next to the file you want to upload
The arrow is to the right of the file name and points up.
You may need to scroll down to find the file you are looking for
Step 8. Tap the paper airplane button in the lower right corner of the screen
The files will then be uploaded to the Discord channel.
